She followed it up with a phenomenal 39-point, 9-rebound effort in a tough loss to Lawrence County 64-67. Kylie dominated the postseason, averaging an incredible 34.5 points and 12.7 rebounds per game.</p>

Burgess was a force inside, finishing with 17 points and an impressive 21 rebounds to lead the Lady Cats to victory, but also making history for the 4th most rebounds in a single-game in the 16th region tournament. Menifee County moves on to the semifinals, where they will go head-to-head against Russell on Friday.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Star freshman [player_tooltip player_id='978237' first='Kylie' last='Smith'] had a a breakout performance, dropping a game-high 21 points and ripping down 7 rebounds to lead Bishop Brossart past Montgomery County 45-23 in the opening round of the 10th Region Tournament. Kylie made a living at the stripe, going 7/8 to help secure the win. The Lady Stangs' survived and will advance to the semifinals, where they will face Bracken County at 7:45 PM at Campbell County Middle School.</p>
