Top Players Shine at Ice Breaker Invitational in Augusta

This weekend, a lot of teams right jumped off the porch and started playing their first travel ball tournament. I was down in Augusta,GA to check out this tournament and let me tell you it was one that didn't disappoint. You had shoe teams, independent teams, going right at each other and it was definitely a nicely ran tournament that had talent in the building.&nbsp;</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>To kick off the spring and summer, we had some TN girls in action down there. For starters, the way she communicates is phenomenal. She is always talking, getting her teammates in the right spot, mand aking sure things are solid moving forward. Had a great tournament where she penetrated to kick as well as knocked down the open shots. Defensively, she was active, getting steals and deflections. Her ability to score the basketball from all 3 levels with poise is crazy good. She can catch and shoot, play off the bounce; what she does is at a high clip and consistent. She can give you buckets but also prevent them. A shifty combo guard who can knock it down from the arc as well as put it on the floor to finish. She can handle that rock, ball on a string, as she maneuvers through defenses with ease. This kid is solid and not only can she score the basketball and make magnificent passes, but she can defend as well getting steals. A shifty PG who has handles and can shoot from multiple spots at a high clip. She sees the floor well and can exploit defenses using her speed and quickness. I love her ability to battle as she isn't afraid to go up against anyone. Don't let the smile fool you, though, cause she is a stone-cold assassin who can shoot the ball. Multiple times, she would let that ball go, and it would&nbsp; find the bottom of the net. Swish, swish, swish, she was like with such high confidence against some elite talent. She always seemed to find herself in the right spot at the right time as she also contributed by getting steals and rebounds.
