plays beyond her years. She’s a smooth, confident and prolific scorer who can knock down shots from deep and create off the bounce. DeWitt doesn’t rush—she picks her spots and makes smart decisions, which is rare for a sophomore. As she continues to add strength and expand her game, her production is only going up.

Another one of the very best players in Georgia and the country in the 2028 class. DeWitt, like the other players on this list, is extremely disruptive on defense, whether it’s picking the ball off a dribbler or jumping in the passing lane to intercept the ball. She also gets multiple open court layups from the work she does on that end of the floor. No one is more athletic or flashy with their handle in Georgia, making Leah one of my favorite players to watch. She,

do things on the court with their athleticism that very few others can resulting in a couple sportscaster-type highlights every game. She is almost impossible to stay in front with the ball, especially if she has momentum and a full head of steam attacking the defense. She shoots the ball exceptionally well from behind the three point line and beyond and gets to the foul line often where she is a high percentage shooter. People in the rest of the country may not know how good she is yet, but they will come to know over the next few years just how elite DeWitt is. She should get the national attention she deserves after a successful travel ball season!

Unfortunately for Leah and her Marietta teammates the season came to an end against a very good, experienced Hillgrove team. Leah, who scored 25 points in the loss, is primed to break out nationally in a big way this Spring and Summer. The confidence she gained with another very impressive year leading her team will only propel her to become an even better player. DeWitt is a scoring machine, scoring the ball in just about every way possible on the court. She has Malaysia Fulwiley type athleticism and you can see the similarities in their game where DeWitt’s athleticism is hard to miss on highlight blocks and on ball steals she gets every game. I expect her ranking nationally to continue to climb over the next three years.

One of the best players in the state of Georgia. She can shoot it from downtown and with great accuracy. She made consecutive deep 3’s to get her team back into the game. Leah made high IQ plays that changed the game on both ends of the court and eventually her team pulled ahead and won the game versus First Baptist. A true difference maker and high next level player.

Leah is one of the best shooters in the country which is well known and she looked great shooting the ball for her team as usual. I was most impressed with her confidence on the ball taking on defenders in isolation situations on offense. That playmaking ability is what separates DeWitt from almost every other player in her class. She beat defenders off the bounce several times in two games and had some very tough finishes at the basket that she was able to convert. She used her quickness just as well on defense where she was very active. DeWitt got steals on and off the ball and had one highlight reel block coming from the help side on a jumpsuit attempt. She has several Power Four offers for a reason.

turned in another impressive performance scoring 31 points on Tuesday night in Marietta’s 65-44 win over Wheeler. Dewitt is another player with excellent range behind the three-point line. Dewitt is almost automatic when she is allowed to catch and shoot but is equally good shooting the ball of the dribble. She is very smooth in transition with ball creating space for her to step into her shot. She handles the ball very well and does a good job getting downhill and attacking the basket. Dewitt is threat on offense as soon as she crosses halfcourt.

A guard that can handle and attack for AEBL, what Leah did best in Ohio was shoot it. Several teams struggled to stay in front of AEBL players and decided to try some zone. When they did, Leah made them pay. She found soft spots in the zone and banged open 3-pointers and still managed to get her shots off and score as the close outs came harder. It was a clinic.

A prolific scorer with Power 5 attention, DeWitt lit it up for 25.4 points per game while adding 6.4 rebounds, 2.4 assists, 2.3 steals, and 1.2 blocks. She made 88 threes on the season. DeWitt is comfortable playing on or off the ball, using a tight handle to free herself for looks off the bounce. She has deep range and excels in catch-and-shoot or pull-up situations.

Leah showed off her elite handle and ability to shoot the rock. She hit numerous pull-up jumpers with good elevation at release point. The most impressive part of her offensive game is her ability to shoot the ball off of the dribble or on the move, especially at a young age.

I know she isn’t a Tennessee girl, but I had to shout her out (maybe one day she will be.)This kid is phenomenal and will be one of the top kids in the country when it’s all said and done. Her ability to score the basketball from all 3 levels with poise is crazy good. She can catch and shoot, play off the bounce; what she does is at a high clip and consistent. She can give you buckets but also prevent them. Power 4 schools are already after her, but look for even more to jump on board as well.
