The 2026 rankings were just released this week and I want to take a look at some of the players who could possibly make a jump in the next year.

Here are some Potential Breakouts

[player_tooltip player_id='608219' first='Bella' last='Burcar'] Perry

Bella is the most obvious player since she missed her junior season with an injury. She has ideal size, skill and feel with a great understanding of where to get her points from mid to the three. The Pumas will be excited to see her next season. She is supposedly on her way back in the next few weeks.

[player_tooltip player_id='859874' first='Caylee' last='Longstreet'] San Carlos (Pictured)

With the graduation of [player_tooltip player_id='605114' first='Ellysia' last='Cutter'], as she heads to Phoenix College next year, Caylee may end up breaking out. She has a long frame and a pure shooting stroke from the three point line. She will get higher usage and be one of their go-to scorers.

[player_tooltip player_id='758873' first='Star' last='Nwabichie'] Paradise Honors

One of the longest power forwards in the class moves gracefully from end to end. She is a little lean but you see glimpses of some great play. She scores it around the cup and rebounds and blocks shots to be a top-end post interior presence.

[player_tooltip player_id='754698' first='Peyton' last='Schiltz'] Horizon

A versatile guard can play on or off the ball. She has good size and skill and a good feel for the game. She sees the court well but will score from all levels with jumpers and dribbles drives.

[player_tooltip player_id='1139081' first='Sloan' last='Bogardus'] Pinnacle

A perfect glue player is a point forward type who can defend multiple positions. She sees the court well and understands how to play off of the pick and roll game. She is quick in the passing lanes and scores with layups on the break.

[player_tooltip player_id='846849' first='Erin' last='Patterson'] and [player_tooltip player_id='582389' first='Madison' last='Gordon'] Phoenix Country Day

With the graduation of two top notch decorated seniors with Kaibara and Owens, there is a lot of production to go around. Both girls have some size and Erin may be the one on the ball more but both will handle it, make plays and score it. They both can hit the three and look for a huge leap in production.

[player_tooltip player_id='925238' first='Corri' last='Jones'] Williams Field

A bigger power forward is a fluid mover from end to end. With the graduation of [player_tooltip player_id='835770' first='Sophia' last='Carnes'], Corri will get some more touches and a spike up in points. She rebounds and defends well in space. She will score it from elbow and in.
