Lewis plays on a deep Canyon View squad but still finds a way to contribute to the game. She has a solid offensive skill set and has shown that she can hit the open three-pointer. Her size and lateral foot speed allow her to guard multiple positions.

Hurd is one of those players who leads by example. She plays with tons of energy and does most of her damage on offense from 15 feet in. She plays very physically and can finish with either hand around the rim. She has also been expanding her shooting range.

Barajas is multi-skilled and due for a breakout spring/summer. She can play multiple positions on offense and defense. On offense, she is more comfortable operating around the mid-range. On the defensive side, she has good length and good anticipation skills.

Shirley made a big leap forward during her junior season and should only get better. She has become more confident handling the ball and will knock down the three-ball if you leave her open. She is becoming more comfortable running the show, which shows in her productivity.

Yanes is like a quiet assassin. When her number is called, she seems to always come through. She doesn't make many mistakes as she tends to play within herself. She is a big shot maker, and I have seen her go on runs of three or four consecutive perimeter shots.

Parks-Rodriquez has recently become one of the better perimeter defenders in the state. She has quick feet, active hands, and a motor that won't quit. Her perimeter shot is steadily improving and will eventually become a weapon that she can use more often.
