Broke Prosser's single season scoring record with 472 points by finishing strong at the hoop and being a knockdown shooter with extended range. In their state playoff loss to Deer Park, the Stags did a good job keeping her limited scoring by denying her the ball and cutting down driving lanes, but Wright showed some other aspects to her game that made a difference like hustling for offensive boards, setting solid screens off the ball to free up teammates, and sealing her defender after cuts to free up driving lanes for teammates. Also has the handle to create some space with long crossovers and side-steps and then bury shots. Solid finisher around the basket with either hand. She averaged 16.4 points and 10.0 rebounds per game in her sophomore year, up from 7.0 points and 3.9 rebounds her freshman. Pretty active on the defensive end too, hitting her rotations quickly, and getting into help to be that relied upon rim defender. She stays in constant motion on offense, has great activity on both ends, and does a good job getting out ahead of the ball quickly in transition. Very solid perimeter defender who can pick your pocket and pairs good shooting touch with solid awareness and passing on the offensive end. She plays with good patience when facing pressure in the backcourt and is patient while looking for her shots on offense.
