April 25th has come, which means the girls' grassroots season is in full-swing, and the first "live" period is upon us. As there are any number of tournaments across the country currently taking place, many of the Indiana grassroots clubs have sent teams to The Clash in Hamilton, Ohio, at the Spooky Nook Champion Mill location. After watching roughly 15 hours of basketball all day Friday, below is a look at seven additional ladies who stood out for one reason or another with their play when I was able to see them.

[player_tooltip player_id='928900' first='Ava' last='Burkle'], 2026, 5-10 PF/SF, Rossville H.S.
- I first saw Ava last Spring, then over the Summer, and again during the 2024-2025 season, and she continues to take strides each time. She is noticeably stronger, more physical, and more aggressive. At the same time, she looks smoother, and she is building her perimeter skillset. She has really nice length, some bounce in her step, and she plays with a productive inside-out versatility.

[player_tooltip player_id='928914' first='Brinley' last='Clark'], 2026, 5-10 SF, Floyd Central H.S.
- Brinley is another wing forward who has made major strides in the last year. The most noticeable trait is that as she has gotten stronger, she has "smoothed out" nicely as an athlete. She glides around the floor almost effortlessly at times. She has always been a playmaker off the dribble, and she can create for teammates, but she's also starting to shoot it much more consistently from outside.

[player_tooltip player_id='624876' first='Camryn' last='Conley'], 2026, 5-11 SF, Northridge H.S.
- Camryn is an outstanding, versatile wing, who plays with great effort and understanding of the game. She has a constant motor, is willing to play much more physical than she might appear, and she doesn't have to score to be impactful in a big way. Friday, however, she shot it extremely well and was aggressive offensively. She could bring a lot of value to an elite small college program.

[player_tooltip player_id='773844' first='Trinity' last='Taylor'], 2026, 5-11 PF, Heritage Christian H.S.
- Trinity proved to be one of the state's best rebounders this past season (13.1 rpg, 6.1 orpg), and as she continues to improve her offensive skillset, she could become a walking double-double next year and beyond. She has an athletic frame, solid strength, nice length, plus she's willing to be physical. She just has a knack for getting her hands on caroms and keeping possessions alive.

[player_tooltip player_id='496070' first='Reese' last='Withers'], 2026, 5-8 SG/SF, Corydon Central H.S.
- Reese is a prospect who is difficult to define by position, and she fulfills the term "ballplayer" well. She has a solid to strong frame, nice length, and she's a balanced athlete. She plays with good toughness, a nice motor, and she often outworks players bigger and more talented. She has done a nice job of improving her versatility, and I overheard a few compliments from coaches Friday.

[player_tooltip player_id='756239' first='Riley' last='Huotari'], 2027, 5-6 PG, Franklin Central H.S.
- I've always enjoyed watching Riley play, because she doesn't shy away from a battle, and she brings good skill and understanding to the floor. She is a feisty lead guard, she's almost too unselfish at times, but she has also had some big games where she reminds you what she's capable of. She handles pressure well, she will sit down and defend, and she's starting to be a better vocal leader.

[player_tooltip player_id='999412' first='Bella' last='Ramsey'], 2028, 5-7 CG, Carmel H.S.
- The amount of growth & skill development Bella has shown since the Fall at our Freshman Showcase has been impressive. She has nice length, a quick first step, and she does a good job of turning the corner quickly and splitting defenders to put pressure on the opponent. She has really improved the dynamics of her handle, but she is also a very good shooter and has a nice mid-range game as well.
