The initial 2025 NCAA "live" period of April 25th-27th has come and gone. There were any number of tournaments across the country which took place, however many of the Indiana grassroots clubs sent their teams to The Clash in Hamilton, Ohio, to the Spooky Nook at Champion Mill location. After reviewing all of my notes from the weekend, I wanted to touch base on a handful of ladies who I haven't mentioned yet who stood out in the 2028, 2029, and 2030 classes when I was able to see them.

[player_tooltip player_id='1225040' first='Ashley' last='Bleke'], 2028, 5-7 SG, Bellmont H.S.
- This weekend was my second time seeing Ashley in about three weeks, and she continues to impress. She has a strong frame for a Freshman, she's a nice North/South athlete, plus she possesses some length. She has nice touch from around the perimeter and could become an elite shooter. She's also great attacking the basket, absorbing contact, and finishing or earning free throw opportunities. She plays hard, competes, and does a lot of the "little things" like rebound and defend.

[player_tooltip player_id='999404' first='Zion' last='Hunt'], 2028, 6-2 C, Lawrence North H.S.
- Zion is an impressive looking youngster who could still grow another inch or two. She has a solid to strong frame, great length, and she's a nice North/South athlete who runs hard and plays with a good motor. She has a natural talent for the game as a post, and she looks like she has been coached and is trying to repeat what has been coached to her. At the same time, as she gets more reps in drills over the next couple of years, she will undoubtedly continue rapidly growing her game.

[player_tooltip player_id='999405' first='Riley' last='Johnson'], 2028, 5-10 SG, Heritage Christian H.S.
- Riley is already a really nice basketball player, and she hasn't even begun to scratch the surface. She has a tremendously long frame, and she looks like she still might grow another couple of inches. She is a very good perimeter shooter, and she will only get better as she finishes growing. She has a fluid athleticism to her right now, plus she can handle the ball a little and create for teammates off the bounce. I feel like she could be a high upside prospect who ends up in the 6-foot range.

[player_tooltip player_id='1263963' first='Riley' last='Suarez'], 2029, 6-1 SF/PF, Hamilton Heights H.S.
- Riley is a new-to-me prospect, and I'm not big on talking about middle schoolers, but her potential really stands out. She has a solid to strong frame for her age, plus she is highly skilled and moves well for her height/age. She has some ball skill, good touch, especially in the mid-post, but she can also knock down the occasional 3-pointer when set and in rhythm. She still has a long time to grow her game, but my first impression is that she will likely be highly sought after over the years.

Journie Johnson, 2030, 5-9 SF, Northwestern H.S.
- Journie could be seen playing up in the 16U age group this past weekend, and she seemed to fit in just fine, especially being so young. She has a strong frame for her age, so hopefully she continues to grow over the next couple of years, because she has a solid skillset, she is a nice North/South athlete, and she plays with a competitive motor. Even though I haven't seen many 2030s yet, I imagine she's one of the better ballplayers right now, so her continued skill development will be key.
