Heart of Texas Showcase Stock Risers

Event though some had played in other events with some D2, NAIA, Juco this was another opportunity to showcase your talents in front of all college coaches. These 5 players I saw that made the most of the moment. I know some received offers while others will be contacted by coaches. I know firsthand cause I have been on the other end when done. So, it is nice to see it when done to other opponents. When you watch Kelby play you just get the vibe you are watching a winner that does not like losing. Great handles in the open floor with vision seeming to always fine the open person. Outstanding shooter from beyond the arch. Excels in the DDM sets which allows her to attack the gaps making the right reads. All in on the defensive end as well. Understands orations in the press and half court man. A player that stock increased the more she showcased her talents. Scoring in double digits each game with a with outside shooting and downhill layups. A good rebounding guard on both ends of the floor that cleaned up several misses for easy putbacks. Physical shooting guard that can mixed it up with the post on defense. The overall skill set to play anywhere on the floor and do it at a high level adds her to this list. Who is looking for a 6'0 combo guard that can literally play 1-4 and possibly 5 if needed. Skill set includes bringing the ball down against the press, shooting the 3 at a high percentage or just posting scoring on a sweet drop step spin move. A player that plays on a high school team with 3 division waiting for her time. A 2027 you will hear about this summer and upcoming high school season.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Dropped 16 Saturday night and 18 Sunday morning. Looking for that long 6'2 player who has great hands and runs the floor filling the lanes look no further. Great footwork around the low block but what takes it to another level is the ability to face up and shoot. She also is a great protector of the rim which allows the guards to pressure up on the outside. A highly ranked player that I believe is still developing her game. Listed at 6'1 she is a shooting guard that must be accounted for on defense. Great size for the 3 guard because of her ability to cut and move without the ball. Showed to be asset on press breaker because of her ball handling skills and ability to see over the small front line of the press. I was shocked that when vising with her she had no solid offer.
