I had a few days to highlight some 17U standouts over the week. Now, I'd like to look at other kids who played well in games I watched. We should have another day or two of content from the Legacy Region Kick-Off.

[player_tooltip player_id='992508' first='Macy' last='Stremlow']

The energy that Stremlow plays with is infectious. Her willingness to do the unsung work that doesn't go into box scores is entertaining. The Verona native attacks the glass, and she's not a natural forward. However, Stremlow's had to play as one for a while. She's an excellent passer, physical around the rim, and has a nose for the ball. The Let it Rain kid is a versatile athlete and as competitive as they come.

[player_tooltip player_id='1228818' first='Rianna' last='Dye']

The 6'0 Platteville native will be a commodity for schools at the next level. Dye is a physical post kid who can rebound the ball on both ends of the floor and keep it high to keep it away from guards who may swipe at it. Dye doesn't do anything that catches your eye every play. She does all the fundamental things well. You won't see her turn the ball over much, and she may not make her moves at the speed of light, but nobody can say she's ineffective. Dye is a productive post kid who does all the fundamental stuff well, and that's why coaches will love her game around the rim.

[player_tooltip player_id='874389' first='Kailynn' last='Thompson']

The Bay Port native had an up-and-down high school season in her first campaign, which is ok for kids that young. I did think she played well when I saw her this weekend. Her physicality stands out as a 6'0 post, and she's not afraid to initiate contact if she can move kids around on either end of the floor if it gives her an advantage. The 2028 [program_tooltip program_id='712778' first='Purple' last='Aces'] forward showed off a soft touch around the rim at times and will be an intriguing kid to track these next few years.

[player_tooltip player_id='874391' first='Madeline' last='Lewitzke']

Another Bay Port guard, Lewitzke, may have suffered a severe knee injury over the weekend, but I'm hoping it's not as bad as expected. In her time on the floor, she showed she is a creative kid with the ball in her hands. The [program_tooltip program_id='712778' first='Purple' last='Aces'] guard weaved through traffic, made some plays for others off the dribble, and excelled when I saw her play on Friday. Hopefully, Lewitzke's back on the floor as soon as possible.
