LBI Jamfest – Making my Notes on Day 1

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>I spent my day at the gym this past Saturday attending the LBI Jamfest at Highlander Way Middle School. Unfortunately, due to a problem with one of the rims, there was only one court available instead of two. Despite this setback, I was still able to see some impressive talent. Her length was a real asset defensively, as she disrupted shots and came away with several impressive blocks. She was active on the boards all day, securing rebounds on both ends and helping control the tempo. She was a defensive pest, constantly hounding ball-handlers and creating chaos on that end of the floor. She showcased her mobility by pushing the ball in transition and delivering a sharp pass on the break. In the half-court, she was tough to contain inside, finishing through contact for a couple of and-ones. Spencer also displayed strong decision-making from the high post, finding open teammates and keeping the offense flowing.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
