There are many talented players across the state. Rankings are important, but dont let that be your only guide to your watchlist this summer. Make sure to check out these unranked guards on the court this summer but you can check them out in this article FIRST!    Goodwin can go! This guard checks all of the boxes. She is very comfortable with the ball in her hands. She can take on full court pressure as well as she can make good thing happen in the half-court for herself and her teammates. With Hard2Guard 16U she is a scoring machine. Sadie is strong and can get to the basket for buckets and the extra at the free throw line. Goodwin is a smooth shooter and can get points from 2pt and 3pt range. On defense she won't let you down. As a 5'10" guard she uses her length to contain dribblers and shooters on the wing. But she can also battle in the paint against post players. Goodwin will turn heads in the Puma circuit this summer.     This guard makes the game look effortless. Soto is fundamentally sound, making her game smooth and dynamic. She is a true PG, looking to create for her teammates first. And she has the vision and passing skills to get it done. She can handle pressure all of the court, knowing when to push the ball and when to get her team into a set. [player_tooltip player_id='899784' first='Olivia' last=''] can absolutley score too. She is shifty and quick, getting to her scoring spots efficiently. She can score in the paint, from mid-range and she has 3pt range. Soto is the type of player that you want leading your defense. She gets in a stance and can guard from end-to-end. She is perfect leading a press or half-court pressure. And you will definitely catch her in help side getting steals and rebounds in the paint. Coming off her freshman season, Cain is definitely ready for the competitive grassroots summer. A taller guard, she is also quick and tough. This guard gets her energy from her defense. She is aggressive and uses her length to lockup opponents in traps in the full court; on the wings in the half-court and she can even guard in the paint. Michele uses her height to get rebounds and her handles to become an end-to-end player. On the offensive end, Michele is just as aggressive. She is strong getting to the basket. She can finish at the rim, or pull up for jumpers. Cain also has range from behind the arch, she is a threat to any defense. This summer with [program_tooltip program_id='712469' first='Colorado' last='Premier'], Cain will be fun to watch.     Brenner is fun to watch, she just doesn't stop. On offense she is always involved, whether it is getting her own buckets or finding her open teammates along the way. Marli will take contact in the paint, she can also hit jumpers from 2pt and 3pt range. And she is always giving her team a second try, getting to the offensive rebounds just like she owned the paint. She brings the same energy to the defensive end. Brenner is aggressive and can defend in full and half court pressure. She is strong in the paint on defense as well, she doesn't have any problem getting in there for tough rebounds or to take a charge. Don't miss watching Brenner with The Future Legends out of Northern Colorado this summer.     Orozco puts in the work off the court and that shows for her on the court. She has the ball handles to get to her scoring spots. She can get points from in the paint and from mid-range. And absolutely do not leave Jalina open behind the arch, her quick release is money from behind the three point line. On D, she has quick feet and hands. She gets steals from dribblers and she can close out to shooters on the wing. Orozco isn't afraid to get in the paint to get steals or battle with a taller post player for boards. With Team Kaun this summer, Jalina will have a impressive summer.
