This is the time of the year when collegiate offers are FLYING off the shelfs. This past weekend was the first Live Period of the 2025 AAU season and that usually leads to great performances, hundreds of college coaches in the build, and ultimately - some offers if you are lucky enough.

In this article we discuss five players that we have seen on the road this AAU season, that were just offered to compete at the next level because of their play over the past few weeks.

Plain and simple, [player_tooltip player_id='935274' first='Vana' last='Bilic'] just gets it done. She competes with that clutch factor or clutch gene in her blood. Bilic isn't the tallest or quickest player I've ever seen but she doesn't get stopped too often offensively. Most of the time she is blowing by her individual defender and getting to any spot she wants. It could be at the hoop for a finish on either side, a pull up floater in the midrange, or a deep three off the dribble. Either way, it's usually a clean and open attempt for Bilic. Following this first Live Period weekend, Bilic received an offer to compete with an NAIA program out in AZ. I'm not sure if this will be the route she will eventually choose but it's definitely a great option to have.

Ashlee Wilson is a prospect out of the 2030 Class so I wouldn't usually evaluate someone this young but in this case, it's different. Wilson is a 5'10 CG, that can do everything asked of her at the guard position. She can handle and kill her defender off the dribble, she uses her natural reach to dominant her 1v1 matchup in the middle of the lane with a patented floater/runner, and she stands out on almost every other possession while doing something noteworthy for her fellow teammates. This AAU season Wilson is competing up with AIA 15U EYBL and she has been killing so far. So much so that Iowa stepped in last night to offer her for her first official Division-1 offer.

Amiyah Gulley of Mac Irvin Fire 15U received her first official D1 offer yesterday when the DePaul Blue Demons gave her a call. Gulley, a 5'6 PG, is the definition of a handful on the hardwood. She possesses a lightning quick handle, [program_tooltip program_id='713325' first='Elite' last=''] vision, next-level athletic ability, a smart head on her shoulders, and she is the definition of a smooth operator with the ball in her hands. When coming down-hill in transition she is almost impossible to stick in front of because of her mixture of balance, body control, and touch on the basketball. This is the first offer but not the last. If you have known Gulley for a few years now, you know her game and you know that she is going to have several college recruiters knocking at her door before you know it.

Everyone needs to run their own race. If you compare your journey to others, you will always be disappointed. Someone who understood that throughout their recruitment process was [player_tooltip player_id='276516' first='Molly' last='Ladwig'] of Skutt Catholic. For a few years now Ladwig was committed to compete at Buffalo following high school but as of recent, she uncommitted and recommitted to Arizona to be a Wildcat this upcoming Fall. This is a big step up for Ladwig and the competition level that she will be facing within that conference out West. She is someone that can light the nets on fire offensively, while being a sound defender against her own position as well. All in all, I'm sure Ladwig is going to love her nee team and situation.

Someone else out of 2028 Class in Illinois also just received an offer as well and that is Keyaira Haywood of Midwest [program_tooltip program_id='713325' first='Elite' last=''] EYBL Meanstreets. Haywood was just offered to begin this week by Sacramento State out in California. This isn't her first college offer though. She already holds one or two others if I'm not mistaken and that speaks volumes with this only being a player out of the Freshman Class. Haywood competes at the PG spot and she has a calm game. She doesn't seem to try to get ahead of herself or make too many moves at one time. Instead, she takes what the defense is giving her, she stays calm in her demeanor, and she is always willing to make the extra play for the others around her. Dunlap High School is going to be a problem in the future. With players like Haywood and Gulley, the sky is the limit.
