USE CODE "tinnon30" FOR 30% OFF THE FIRST PURCHASE OF ANY SUBSCRIPTION

When I sit back and assess this junior class and their PG play, I truly like what I see: young ladies who cannot only run an offense effectively but also go get a bucket if need be. Within these rankings, you have different types of PGs who can get the job done. You have the ones who can create off the dribble utilizing their speed, and then you have those who can just shoot it from afar at a high clip.

Here are a few PGs who are at the top of the class.

One of the most dynamic and exciting PGs in the state, she knows how to go get a bucket whenever and however. Utilizing her speed, she is a downhill threat that can create off the bounce and slice to the rim. Yes, she can pull it from deep, but attacking the cup is what she does best. It's hard to stop her once she gets going; teams can only pray and try their best to slow her down. This kid is highly sought after and rightfully slow. She's one of the top dynamic players in the state.

The Clemson commit is truly a technician when it comes to the game of basketball. She can do a little bit of everything at this position. Sure, she can go one v. one using her dribble to create space to attack the rim or pull up. Or she can run sets and find her shot within the frame of the offense. Either way, there is a reason why she won the Miss TN Basketball award for her class. This kid is tough and not just offensively, but defensively as well. Clemson got them a good one, and she has one more year to terrorize opponents in the high school ranks.

Technically, this young lady could be considered a combo guard in how she can play without the ball in her hands. However, she will be looked upon to handle the rock even more this upcoming year, so I'm just going to throw her in this conversation. C. Jordan is that girl. She's one tough kid who can change speeds and get right into her shot at the mid-range. Of course, she can shoot the 3 and get to the rim, but the middy, that's her thing. She elevates over opponents so beautifully, it leaves the fans and even her opponents in 'ahh' moments. This kid is super talented and one of the top ones in the state.

The more and more I see this kid, the more I'm convinced she is the truth when it comes to this position. She just plays hard on both ends, and it doesn't matter the setting. Small school, big stage, AAU, doesn't matter; this kid just does work efficiently and effectively. For starters, she can handle the rock, make timely passes, and score from all 3 levels. One of the things that stands out the most to me is her defense. She can terrorize an opponent, making it hard for them to operate. Plus, she picks up full court. Such a talented kid who is going to be a steal for a school at the next level. She can run your system and then some.

A heady ballplayer who is as selfless as they come. A true point guard who looks for her open teammates or the hot hand. Call her old-fashioned, she's gonna distribute first before she gets hers. And she is going to get it for sure. She, too, can score it from multiple spots on the floor. She can spot up but also create off the bounce. Once she gets going, it's hard to stop because she isn't afraid to keep going at you, especially if she believes you are weaker than her. Her game has evolved, and her ability to score in the interior has increased with additional moves she's added to her bag. This kid is solid and continues to thrive every time she steps on the floor. Solid PG who will be a nice addition for a school at the next level.

Scoring PG who can get after it. When her teams needs a bucket, it is her who they look to. Had an impressive run this past season where she helped her club reach new heights. Within that time, she too transformed her game. She is a threat each and every time she touches the ball. She can get to the rim or knock it down from 3. Look for her to continue on this trajectory and be a nice addition for a ball club at the next level.

Solid as they come, she is Ms. Consistency that can do all things. When the rock is in her hands, she can distribute with the best of them. Always in the right place at the right time, she is a heady ball player who makes the right reads. Add in her ability to score from multiple levels, this kid is solid on the offensive end and contributes on the defensive side as well. Great size and speed, this is a prospect you need to watch.
