The proof is in the pudding, and this class has proven such since day one. Now, there have been some kids who have been dominant right from the start, but others who have been some late bloomers in this class as well. Nothing against their stardom, but it just took a moment to realize that they, too, belong in conversations. There can be many reasons, but understand that this ‘26 class has some hidden gems amongst them that will be big-time commodities for schools at the next level.   Here are some hidden gems from the ‘26 class you will need to keep an eye on over the next year.    This kid is special, and she is about to show everyone what she is worth. A 3-level scoring threat that can change speeds, hit runners, get to the rim, has handles, and she's just a problem. She's a goon, and this kid is playing with such confidence now, she is going to be a tough out for opponents. She's going to go at you on the offensive end for sure, but you better believe her defense will also come with it. She has speed, quick hands, and will look to push the envelope to get an easy bucket going the other way. A solid kid who is going to jump on collegiate radars sooner rather than later.     She had a tremendous year where she just got after it. Plays with such speed and physicality, she can put he ball in the net in more ways than one. Of course, she can shoot from deep, but her ability to utilize that quick first step is second to none. I love her instincts on the defensive end, which helped spark many runs for the Lady Burros throughout the tournament. Look for her to have a solid summer and come to the high school season even stronger.     I'm going to go on record and say I am a fan. This kid is a heady ball player who has a high basketball IQ. She sees the floor well, can get to the rim, knows when to set something up to give her ball club the advantage, and can knock down the 3-ball. She is a selfless player who competes from tip to the final whistle. She understands floor spacing and knows how to attack an open area to either create or get into a nice mid-range jumper. This kid has become a sure hand when it comes to leading the charge. An exceptional leader who gives the Lady Raiders an edge, especially when it comes to taking care of the ball and executing. Solid kid who has a bright future.     The more and more I see this kid, I see how much value she brings. I love how she can stretch the floor, but when it comes to the interior, she dominates that on both ends of the floor. She goes after the rock like it's no one's business. So when it comes to rebounding, you better believe she is going to give you double digits of that. I really like her post-up game and how she can score faced up. She's tough, and you can just tell she is comfortable and relaxed as she works out there on the floor. This kid is a trooper and look for her to continue to grow and be more of an enforcer down the stretch.     She's not much of a hidden gem as far as high school goes, but I think when it comes to the collegiate game, she's a young star in the making. Chelby just seems to rise up in big-time moments and isn't afraid of the opportunity. I've seen her when her club has had the advantage and when the chips have been down, and her temperament is still the same. She is going to go at you, do her best to will her club to victory, and do so by giving it all she has. I think that is what makes this kid special is because she just doesn't stop. A super-talented 3-way level scoring threat that is a monster at both ends of the floor. Stay locked and loaded on this young lady because she is the truth.
