Yesterday, we went through some kids in the 2026 class who D1 coaches might be interested in watching wherever they may be this coming live period. Today, we're looking at some of the 2027 kids who could draw some interest from coaches at the D1 level and players I'd recommend watching if time allows.

[player_tooltip player_id='764918' first='Anna' last='Miller']

The Edgewood guard managed to get the best out of every possession, no matter the situation. Miller is among the best decision-makers I've seen in my four years around girls' basketball in Wisconsin, and I thought that of her when I first saw her play as an eighth grader. The offenses she runs are smooth and competitive with anyone they line up against. Miller will be an excellent lead guard at the next level.

[player_tooltip player_id='751246' first='Awut' last='Alic']

There are things Alic does that catch your eye when you watch her play. Her athleticism changes the course of games, and Alic knows that. She can block shots from anywhere on the defensive end of the floor, and when she's engaged, she can be an elite defender. Offensively, Alic will look better over the summer because of the talent around her, but she can create shots from all three levels and make difficult shots whenever she likes. Alic still has room to grow, but there's plenty to like about her game.

[player_tooltip player_id='751281' first='Rita' last='Kuepper']

The lead guard from Hartford is possibly the most skilled point guard in her class. Offensively, Kuepper is as smooth as anyone around the country. At her best, Kuepper is a legitimate game-changer who can beat good defenses. Kuepper can score at all three levels and throw aggressive passes through small windows. Her area to improve was on the defensive end of the floor, and she's become a more influential player on that end of the floor over the past few years and reads the flow of a game on that end well.

[player_tooltip player_id='914910' first='Addison' last='Schmidt']

Any program that wants to win as many rebounding battles as possible should take time to watch [player_tooltip player_id='914910' first='Addison' last='Schmidt']. There may not be a better individual rebounder in Wisconsin. She's a sizeable kid at around 6'2 with an excellent motor that allows her to rebound outside her area. Schmidt has gotten more skilled around the basket and could overpower anyone in the state in the paint. Her interest should continue to grow from coaches at the next level this summer and moving forward.
