The May viewing period commences tomorrow and these seven rising juniors are ready to get boots on the ground... well, in their case, basketball sneakers on the court (lol)!!! You don't want to miss what they bring to the table!

[player_tooltip player_id='789187' first='Heziah' last='Kinston'] | Team Miller

Heziah's strength lie in her ability to slash to the basket and make tough buckets, absorbing a lot of contact in the process. She has some killer handles that put the opponent on skates, creating space for her to go to work. When she's not going straight for the lay-in, she reads the floor really well and has a terrific drive-and-kick game, forcing defenders to collapse on her in the lane, freeing up shooters around the perimeter. She also mixes it up, floating up some pretty shots and finishing on both sides of the glass, keeping the defender on her toes. Her 3-point shooting continues to improve and she's more than capable of sinking multiple triples on any given day.

Frankie Chiaravalle | Empire State

This 6'0" wing is an absolute Swiss-Army knife for her ESBC squad. Versatile scoring sees her light it up from just about anywhere. If she's not sinking 3 balls, you can find her making plays from the mid-post and dropping down to score around the rim. She has the quickness of a small guard and the length of a forward, which poses a matchup problem for many. Her mid-range shot might be the most underrated in her arsenal. Her versatility carries over to defense also, as she's able to lock down the paint area and stretch out to guard the perimeter and keep intensity on the press.

[player_tooltip player_id='961189' first='Jocelyn' last='Gesner'] | Team Northeast

Jocelyn's size at 6'3" makes her dribble penetration and 3-point shooting that much more devastating! She's so good at getting her feet set around the arc, ready to knock down triples off the catch... something she can do at a high clip! She releases the ball so high, making it an arduous task for smaller defenders to try and close out on. When she establishes position in the low block, it's money nearly every single time. Defensively, she's rock solid. Jocelyn is a shot-blocking machine around the rim but can also stretch way out and defend the middle-third; long arms do a great job disrupting opponents looking to advance the ball for quick offensive attacks. She possesses a next level skillset and is someone D1 coaches should keep a close eye on.

[player_tooltip player_id='865698' first='Acadia' last='Walters'] | Philly Legacy NXTPRO 16U Peterson

She's well known for her scorching 3-point shooting, but she's proving to have a lot more in her arsenal. So far this Spring, Acadia has shown her ability to get to the basket on some sharp looking cuts. She is constantly moving without the ball, reading the play and ready to receive and attack. She does a terrific job returning the favor, also, feeding her teammates and dishing dimes all over the floor. She's exceptionally good on the entry feed and pushing the ball ahead in transition. Acadia's motor is relentless and she's always on go, looking to push the pace and get opponents out of their comfort zone.

[player_tooltip player_id='890878' first='Aryana' last='Iyer'] | United NJ 16U National

Ary showed a lot of potential during the April live period. She did a terrific job pushing the pace and speeding up the opponent way more than they wanted to be sped up! As for that 3-point shot?? Whewwww. This girl can absolutely LIGHT IT UP. Straightaway, from the corner, pull-up, catch-and-shoot, it doesn't matter! She gets a lot of her confidence from seeing deep buckets drop and once she gains that confidence in the first half, it's usually smooth sailing in the second. If she gets into a good shooting rhythm early, it can spell trouble for the opponent. Very coachable and skilled combo guard.

[player_tooltip player_id='1048715' first='Lola' last='McGonigle'] | Comets 16U GUAA

Even a well-coordinated zone defense can't stop Lola when she gets in a groove. Her 3 ball is one of the most efficient you'll find this weekend and she's able to pop over anybody... and from DEEP too. A good majority of her triples come from at least two feet behind the arc! However, one thing to pay attention to is her mid-range jumper. Over the past few years, it's gotten better and better, to the point where she's starting to really master the 12-15 footer. I took notice of her efficiency from that area last year at the NCAA Academy and it's only continued to improve since then.

[player_tooltip player_id='1223535' first='Juliana' last='Whalen'] | Lady Runnin Rebels 16U HGPL

One things I love about Juliana's game is her HUSTLE. This girl never stops working! Whether the shots are falling or not, she remains positive and plays just as hard in the beginning as she does in the end. She has an emerging 3-point shot that when it's clicking, it's REALLY clicking! Her biggest strength, in my opinion, is her defense. She plays a lot bigger than 5'9" which makes a huge difference covering the paint area; deflections and blocks. Very aggressive mindset on D, whether picking up the opponent full court or suffocating the ball around the perimeter.
