Atlantic City Showcase - 2026 Standouts

Coaches were everywhere in the Atlantic City Convention Center this weekend. These girls made a name for themselves under the bright lights. Different players from different states playing at different levels but they all brought everything they had this weekend. Wow! Against Empire State P24, there was not a defender on the floor that could stay in front of her. She got downhill like a freight train and finished with ease over the Empire interior length. I didn't see her range as a shooter because whenever she needed to score she got to the rim. Her athleticism was on full display when she would pulls basketballs off the glass and take off in transition for easy baskets. There is a reason she is a Top 60 player in the Class of 2026. She plays with poise and tempo and under control. She scored at all 3 levels against [program_tooltip program_id='714654' first='NJ' last='Shoreshots'] and Empire State P24. She is very smooth in all facets of the game and is willing to go out and guard the ball hard on the defensive end for her Germantown Lady Panthers team. Carryn was an absolute grinder on Sunday against Level Up LI. She plays with an edge and he toughness shows when she gets the ball in her hands. Whether its on defense or on the glass she doesn't back down from anyone. Offensively, she is a tough finisher. She attacks the rim and finishes through contact easily. On a team full of very skilled 2027s, Taylor is a 2026 who excels in her role. She uses her length and toughness to be a disruptive force on the back end of the YKS pressure defense. She blocks or alters shots when the opponent comes inside and she attacks the glass. Offensively, she knows her spots, gets to them and converts consistently when she receives the ball. A classic combo guard, Zaelinh does a little bit of everything for Sideline Cancer. Against United NJ and [program_tooltip program_id='774068' first='NJ' last='Panthers'], she handled the ball, distributed and attacked the basket. When playing off the ball she was kept herself moving to find open lanes to get to the rim or spot up on the perimeter. A team that likes to overplay passing lanes on the perimeter and pressure the ball, Zaelinh easily fits their defensive model. Just like she did in Spooky Nook last month, Emily put on a show in Atlantic City. In a game against Bay State Jaguars GUAA, she was in total control. She gets into her quick release 3-pointers coming off screens, spotting up in the corner or off the bounce with a step-back. At 6'1" her length makes her so dangerous at both ends and her versatility give her Team Northeast P24 the ultimate chess piece. After a tough 0-2 start to the weekend, [program_tooltip program_id='714654' first='NJ' last='Shoreshots'] HGSL went 2-0 with huge wins over Empire State P24 and Comets GUAA to finish the weekend. Tessa took control in games 3 and 4, running the show and distributing, banging 3-pointers and finishing in the paint. Her composure and ability to rise to the moment was summed up when she hit a baseline floater at the buzzer to knock off Comets GUAA.
