Perimeter shooting is always valued at all levels at basketball. That's exactly what Wright brings to the table, and based on these highlights she torched the nets from deep all weekend long for a recent tournament. Closes out don't bother her, because her quick release will either see her let it fly over the raised arms. Or she can put it on the deck and get to the rim for floaters. Or relocate with a dribble or two and still hit from distance. Even in highlights, it's apparent that LaBouff plays the game with good pace and feel. Subtle movements allow her to change gears on drives, getting by defenders and getting downhill. Good mixture of making passes or scoring in the highlights. All are promising signs for a forward prospect with an upside as high as her height and wingspan. Will be at Edmond Santa Fe this winter and will be tested with a Class 6A schedule.
