The competition was high-level across the board, with plenty of skilled prospects making their mark. A lightning-quick lefty guard who can get anywhere she wants off the dribble and keeps defenders on their heels. Layla is a lethal outside shooter with deep range, but also excels at getting into the lane, where she finishes with floaters and crafty layups at the rim. She is pest on defense and knows how to picks pockets and turn steals into points. She thrives in transition, pushing the pace with her head up and looking for open teammates. She attacks the rim with purpose and has a knack for drawing contact. Defensively, she stood out with her ability to move her feet and keep the ball in front of her. She brings consistent energy to the floor, does an excellent job crashing the glass, and chasing down missed shots. Offensively, she's a solid shooter from both mid-range and from three. She's an absolute marksman from three with great mechanics. Parker knows how to get her feet set, eyes on the rim, and dial it in! She also ran the floor hard in transition and was rewarded with easy buckets. She gave maximum effort when she on the court and it seemed like every time I looked up from my notes, she was diving on the floor for a loose ball. Macy battled hard on the glass, pulled down several offensive rebounds and finished with tough put backs.
