Memorial Day Classic: Final Notes

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Lady Phenom hosted their Memorial Day Classic in Rock Hill, SC last weekend with a good mix of teams from the southeast competing over the holiday weekend.  I was able to catch day 1 of the event, and I can't wrap up my coverage without mentioning these final notes.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:acf/evaluation-block for her team.  On defense, she did well clogging the paint blocking shots.  Her rebounds on offense were effective leading to some of her own points.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- to slide into the openings looking for the entry pass, and she made the right adjustments to score her points.  She goes up high for the ball whether she's getting a pass or grabbing a rebound.  She really got in her groove hustling up the court being ready for the quick pass in the offensive set and scoring on the block. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block --> <!-- be a problem in the paint for her opponents being able to score off of offensive rebounds with ease.  Her opponents didn't seem to have an answer for how to prevent her from grabbing rebounds, and she well in the paint moving from block to block to get the open look, and she made sure to score even through contact.  She caused some turnovers getting in the way making guards rethink their decision
