The PGH Indiana State Tourney was held this past weekend in Warsaw, Indiana, at Warsaw Community High School. Below is a quick rundown of the 17U division, with a list of the teams and how they fared, along with an All-Tournament team of five ladies, plus an additional Honorable Mention All-Tournament list.

[player_tooltip player_id='884487' first='Aniyah' last='Anthony'], 2026, 5-2 PG, Tri-West H.S., [program_tooltip program_id='713092' first='Indiana' last='Showcase Black'] 17U
- To me at least, I feel like Aniyah is one of the most overlooked kids in the 2026 class, and likely because she is 5-2. She is quick, fast, and has great control of her change-of-direction ability. She loves to play fast, but she doesn't force often, and she understands how to change pace well. She can (and will) find open teammates, but she also has the quick first step to get to the rim, plus she can knock down open rhythm jumpers. Additionally, she can defend 84-feet.

Skylar Collinsworth, 2026, 5-4 CG, Madison Central H.S. (KY), Richmond Heat 17U
- I wasn't able to see Skylar all four games, but when I did see her, she was filling it up, and with range to near 30-feet. She has nice quickness, the ability to use the dribble to create separation, and of course, that smooth jumper when she has any sort of rhythm. I'm not sure if she'd be better suited as a point guard or a scorer running off of screens at the next level, but you can be sure she can provide the presence of a perimeter scoring threat.

Zamiah Garth, 2026, 5-5 CG, Hazel Green H.S. (AL), LAC Ballers 17U
- Zamiah is another guard who stood out to me in the couple of times I saw her. She has a nice, strong, athletic frame, a little length, plus nice North/South speed. She's even a little bouncy. She showcased a solid handle, the ability to break down defenders, but she didn't play too fast or force action. She was typically pretty steady, a willing passer, but she could also score it by getting to the rim and finishing through contact or knocking down open jumpers.

[player_tooltip player_id='761179' first='Carley' last='Moellering'], 2026, 5-9 CG, Homestead H.S., [program_tooltip program_id='714264' first='OPS' last=''] UA Rise 17U
- You could just about pick anyone from this team any weekend, because they are always a fun watch. As for Carley, I felt like this was some of the best basketball I've seen her play all Spring. She was really good with the ball in her hands, creating opportunities for herself and teammates. She shot it well outside, but she also got into the paint and finished with a variety of floaters/runners. She is so long, always active, and plays with a quiet toughness.

Jessica Thornton, 2026, 5-3 PG, Niles H.S. (MI), Soil 17U
- I was able to see a little of Jessica a month ago in Mishawaka, and I felt like she played solidly there as well. She is a smaller guard, but she's strong at her size, fairly tough-nosed, and somewhat feisty. She gets out and goes in transition, she can find teammates down the floor, plus she's more than capable of getting gaps and collapsing defenses. She is a willing passer, but she's also a good shooter/scorer. Additionally, Jessica can be a pest defensively.
