Expert Analysis

Grace made two changes of scenery this year, and both seem to have helped her game. She transferred from Shenandoah to Pendleton Heights, and she changed coaches within the OPS program. With this OPS team, she is expected to get out and pressure the ball, and she really stood out Saturday because of that. I’ve never seen her defend with that much length, quickness, intensity, and urgency. She was fantastic, and I think that could be a calling card of hers among recruiting schools. She is a nice athlete, a slashing scorer, and she can shoot it a little, too.

I felt like Grace had a really nice Spring and Summer playing in the 17U division. She is a balanced athlete in most directions, she has a wiry-strong, athletic frame, and she tends to always compete with a nice motor. She is still more of a slasher than a perimeter shooter, but she does have a solid handle, and she can create offense for herself and teammates. She’s also a versatile defender who rebounds. She reportedly transferred from Shenandoah High School to Pendleton Heights for the 2025-2026 school year.

I have had Grace’s name for a little while now, but I have finally seen her multiple times this Spring. She is a long, wiry-strong, fairly athletic wing who plays with a nice motor. She’s a run-and-jump athlete who is good in trapping situations, she can defend multiple types of players, and she is a good pursuing rebounder. Offensively, she’s more of a slasher right now, but as she makes her perimeter jumper more consistent, she could become a handful to defend.
