RaShiya Hall never stops moving out on the floor. It doesn't matter if she has the ball in her possession or not. She is always moving from one spot to another, looking for an opening within the opponents defense. At times she will bring up the ball as the PG and get to the hoop or the line off the dribble. Other times, she is playing the 2 or 3 spot, cutting and slashing, making it a tough time for an opponent to deal with. As a game wears on, Hall gets more and more open looks by the hoop off of opportunity because defenses happen to fall asleep. You saw it time and time again this weekend in Kansas City.

The OK [program_tooltip program_id='712750' first='Shock' last=''] 2028 S40 team play a brand of basketball that is respectable. They bring size, smarts, and most importantly - some skill to the hardwood. A player that was definitely noteworthy this weekend in some moments was Kennel Mcleod. Mcleod looks taller than most out there and she is coordinated to pair along with that. She can take the ball off the rebound, coast-to-coast and finish with some flash if need be or she can use her size advantage right in the paint. That allows her to score over smaller individuals that might be matched up with her. Her team plays a zone defensively but she does what she can on that front. She stays disciplined to her assignment and that's most important when you are in that type of situation.

One of the more deadly prospects from the past few days that I noticed was [player_tooltip player_id='1231633' first='Trinity' last='Mills'] of [program_tooltip program_id='714596' first='Woo' last='Elite'] 15U. Mills has fast hands, she keeps her eyes on the rim, she is willing to let it go from the catch or dribble, and has a really fast release. She also happens to bring a lot of energy. She is vocal and someone that really pumps up her people whenever she has the chance. You love to see that from a hooper. That type of energy is what is welcomed at the collegiate level so it's a great intangible to possess.

When you sit down to scout Avery Walker, somethings pop out to you right away. First, she has better than average height at 5'10 with seemingly lengthier arms. Next, she can stretch the floor with a three point shot offensively or she can use her size in the paint for easy attempts over players that don't match up with her size. It seems like Walker is more comfortable playing away from the ball and away from the hoop but maybe that was just this weekend. She is someone with future potential that everyone should keep an eye on.
