Throughout the day I have been taking live-notes on prospects and really diving into what makes each of those players tick. In this article we go-over some of those notes.

Thanks for tuning in and enjoy!

#1 - Bryndall Paterson - 2029 - Play4Him Academy 2029 Diamond

"Paterson doesn't bring up the ball every time but she is PG #1 in my eyes. When she drives it's either for a nifty assist to an open teammate or for a finish herself with either hand at the bucket. She possesses a great mixture of speed, control, and situational awareness offensively, while being someone that is willing to be one of the first on the floor for a loose ball on defense."

#10 - [player_tooltip player_id='1243449' first='Mariella' last='Gilmore'] - 2029 - Missouri Phenom Springfield 14U

"This is an interesting prospect. PG #1 for her team. Good feel for the ball, side to side body movement, and willingness to adapt. Also seems to possess a knock down jumper off the catch. Very good in the categories of foundation, form, and follow through when shooting in those moments. I had the chance to watch Gilmore twice today and I don't see too many weaknesses in her overall play-style. Which is a good thing. That's not too common at this age level."

#1 - Avery Anderson - 2029 - Missouri Flight 14U Blue

"Good size, athletic, mobile, can pass, can play outside-to-in at a consistent rate. Anderson might not of had the best game, if we are talking about her standards but she stood out as someone with a great foundation to build onto moving forward in this game of basketball. Anderson can do anything that is asked of her by her coaches. It might not be too pretty but it's always productive"

#8 - Adelyn Trask - 2029 - Play4Him Academy 2029 Gold

"Catch and shoot killer from behind the three point line. I'm not talking just behind the three point line either. I'm talking 5 feet behind the line, if Trask has time to catch and set, it's going to be a good shot. This happened on multiple occasions today in Kansas City. Her team would do some dribble action into a weave and somehow, Trask would end up wide open for a look in the corner or at the wing. Each time she had this look, the shot might not of gone in but it sure looked like it was going too."

#30 - Hayden Robinson - 2026 - KC Storm Elite 17U

"Hayden Robinson checks off a lot of boxes. I just happen to be walking by her court and she stood out to myself both literally and metaphorically. A 6'0 CG that can bring up the ball, play out of the mid-post, or attack off the dribble from the outside. She also has good physicality to match with her size. Her team asks her to do a lot but within a different system, I could see her thriving at the collegiate level in some form/facet."

#45 - Kimora Johnigan - 2029 - Missouri Phenom KC 14U White

"Impactful back-to-the-basket type of player. Taller then everyone else on the floor at all times, decent physicality, and respectable footwork. A long ways to go but you can't teach height. When you have a player at this age at 6'2+ on the women's side, it's impactful to say the least and that's what we have here. Over-time if she can continue to work on her weaknesses, she could be a problem."

#32 - Mabel Bland -2027 - Missouri Phenom 16U EYCL

"Bland is another one of those tall prospects coming in at 6'4 and she is going to have a lot of interest in the future from the collegiate level if she can continue to play like she did this afternoon. You can tell that Bland is always a student of the game. She is trying to learn concepts while playing and that's not always a common thing we see out of recruits. There were a lot of D2 and NAIA programs in attendance today and I'm sure that Bland was someone that was on everyone's list walking into this weekend. If not, she is now."
