Saturday marked the first day of the 2025 PGH Indiana State Tournament. There are 28 teams on hand for the event, with a number of nice small college prospects in attendance in the upper age groups, along with some very intriguing youngsters making some noise as well. Below is a quick recap of a few 15U, 14U, and 13U performers who stood out when I was able to see them throughout Saturday's action.

Kei'maija Hickey, 2028, 5-8 G/W, Muncie Central H.S., Lady Bates Fundamentals 15U
- This was one of the most intriguing prospects I saw Saturday who I didn't know going into the event. Kei'maija is extremely long, she's a nice, fluid athlete, she has speed, a quick burst, and she's bouncy. She showed the ability to create offense and get downhill, she shot it consistently from the perimeter, plus she was active on the offensive boards. Defensively, she can take on most guards, all wings, and even some undersized forwards.

[player_tooltip player_id='1231136' first='Jada' last='Walker'], 2028, 5-2 CG, Northridge H.S., [program_tooltip program_id='714264' first='OPS' last=''] UA Rise 15U
- Jada was electric early in her first game of the day. She is a smaller, compact, tough-nosed, hard-working guard. She loves to get out and go in transition, and she can get to the rim to score or find open teammates. When she learns to change speeds, it will really help her effectiveness. Defensively, she was extremely feisty, she often picked up full-court, and she was like a gnat bouncing around harassing ball-handlers.

[player_tooltip player_id='1231126' first='Sydnee' last='Hillier'], 2029, 5-10 W/F, East Noble H.S., [program_tooltip program_id='714264' first='OPS' last=''] Select 15U
- Sydnee stood out almost immediately because she has an extremely long and wiry frame. Additionally, she moves well in most directions and seems to glide up and down the floor almost effortlessly. She showed the ability to put the ball on the floor and attack the basket North/South, plus she smoothly knocked down a couple of perimeter jumpers. I think with her length, she could become an excellent on-ball defender in time.

[player_tooltip player_id='882733' first='Addison' last='Jones'], 2029, 5-8 PF, Monrovia H.S., [program_tooltip program_id='1002317' first='Indiana' last='Showcase Red'] 15U
- I have seen Addi a few times this Spring, and she is prepped to step into a really nice situation at Monrovia where they have a young core and could use an interior presence. She is extremely strong and physical, she likes to seek contact first, plus she has soft hands and skill in the mid-post and around the low block. She is a solid all-around athlete as well, and she has shown signs of potentially becoming a nice wing long-term.

[player_tooltip player_id='1247723' first='Quinnlyn' last='Pickett'], 2030, 5-8 G/W, Blackhawk Christian School, Fort Wayne Lady Braves 13U
- Quinnlyn is a really nice 8th-grader-to-be who could really develop into an outstanding college prospect. She has length, a wiry-strong frame, and fluid athleticism. She is very coordinated for someone her height at her age, and genetics suggest she could eventually be a 6-foot-ish guard/wing long-term. She already has solid ball skill and nice-looking shooting mechanics. She just needs to finish growing and continue building her skill.
