[player_tooltip player_id='582813' first='Ellie' last='Muller'] of Dowling Catholic High School and AIA EYBL AAU picked up another Division-1 offer to begin the week. This time the offer comes from the Tigers of Missouri. Mizzou threw their name into the ring for Muller's future commitment and it might pay off. If you don't know, Muller is someone to note out of Iowa in the 2026 Class. She is a 6'3 PF, that controls the paint and who can stretch the floor with her movability. This AAU season she has done a respectable job of controlling her area's on the floor. She just needs to keep improving in her weaknesses, then who knows where she might take things.

The UNI Panthers secured an important commitment this past weekend out of [player_tooltip player_id='502095' first='Emily' last='Larsen'] of CR Prairie and Missouri Phenom 17U - Iowa. It's always crucial to get in-state recruits to come to your program. If you can recruit in your home state well, you have something to build on. If you can't, it is probably going to be tough sledding in the grand scheme of things. Larsen is a walking bucket at the SG position. Whenever she lets the ball go for a shot attempt, it always looks like it has a chance of going in. It's picture perfect and usually right on-line, no matter the distance. I hope this play-style carries over to the Panther's program. If it does, Larsen will be a name we hear about for more years to come out of the Cedar Falls area.

[player_tooltip player_id='777232' first='Melina' last='Snoozy'] just secured one of her biggest offers to date over the weekend when Iowa State stepped up to the plate. Snoozy is a 5'11 SG/CG with a versatile play-style and a D1 level shooting stroke from all over the court on O. Her best ability is letting it fly off the catch but she can also handle under pressure, rebound, defend, assist, and score over smaller opponents within the half-court in their motion. I still would have liked to see a little more out of Snoozy before this offer but I understand it. She is ranked as the #1 2027 prospect in the state of Iowa and a heck of a competitor. Two factors that definitely play to her advantage at this point.

[player_tooltip player_id='777225' first='Katie' last='Muller'], little sister of [player_tooltip player_id='582813' first='Ellie' last='Muller'] above, also picked up a D1 offer because of her recent production on the EYBL floor. Muller scooped up a Wisconsin offer, coming off of some great Live Sessions. There is a lot to like about Muller and her game. She is listed at 6'1 but seems a lot closer to her sister at 6'3, she can light the nets on the fire with her catching and shooting ability, and she can matchup with several different opponents at different positions on defense. If Muller continues to stay in the gym during her off-season, I'm sure these offers will continue to role in until she ends up committing eventually.

It's safe to say that [player_tooltip player_id='880903' first='Addie' last='McLaughlin'] has had a year to remember on the hardwood. She kicked things off this Winter with her IC -Regina Catholic team, helping them to the State Tournament while putting up impressive numbers at the PG position. To follow this showing, McLaughlin has helped her EYBL 15U crew to an impressive start this Spring on the road. Not to mention, she helped this same team to an 8th grade EYBL JR National Title last season. All of this skill and production has led to Eastern Illinois being the first D1 program to take a shot on McLaughlin. Like we always say, it's her first but it won't be her last. This hooper is beyond talented with the ball in her possession and she is going to be able to go places someday because of that factor.
