Santiago was just featured in a recent article previewing guards to look forward to in the weekend. Fastforward a few days and look who's here again? Jaizzy looked absolutely stunning showing her 2-way dynamic ability in a few matchups. She has a hunger for the game and that's an extra trait that raises her level of play. This is exactly the type of player college coaches need on their roster. She relishes in big moments, plus she provides a stable control over the pace of the game. This weekend was just another example of why she needs to be on some recruiting boards. Jaizzy was a main focus of the opposing teams faced and was an utter force that was hard to contain.

LIly Downing (2027) | 5'3 PG | MCW Starz

Things look to be coming together for Downing. Her understanding of the game, ability to let the play to develop and timely passes to teammates that get them easy looks provided a stable presence all while being the primary initiator. Lily was influencing productive basketball sequences consistently no matter who was in front of her. She wasn't fazed by any heavy pressure that was in front of her. This poise she demonstrated allowed the offense to progress with ease. Downing was quite the sound passer in tight spaces too; her topnotch vision illustrates a player that sees plays before they even happen. The well-grounded floor general was flourishing in AC.

[player_tooltip player_id='1050217' first='Sara' last='Santimaw'] (2027) | 6'1 Wing | Team Northeast

Sara started off a tad slow, but quickly got it rolling once getting comfortable. In her last couple of games, she looked very impressive. Her 6'1 frame came in handy as she snagged boards, extended to the rim and was able to switch off onto different players. Her shooting capacity is what most recognize, but Santimaw is really rounding out her game, offering so much more than that. Those other aspects of her skillset came alive and that's what coaches will start to value about her. Being a player that can shoot the lights out, while being able to contribute in other areas such as the hustle department make her such a fascinating prospect with such a high ceiling. Getting to the loose balls, fighting for position and encouraging teammates are just some of the intangibles that will go very far for her. Sara is also in impeccable shape, showing she could log heavy minutes without a drop in production. Her stock is certainly rising after some stately performances.

[player_tooltip player_id='1218061' first='Sophie' last='Dupeyron'] (2028) | 6'0 Wing | NE Storm

Sophie offered staggering 2-way play that helped her team while battling this weekend. Dupeyron was a key feature that insisted on letting her presence be known. The 6'0 wing can get it done many ways; she's not afraid to take the open looks, she attacks the lane aggressively and applies convincing on-ball pressure. Sophie's ability to naturally impact the game, plus positional length absolutely makes her a significant freshman prospect. Keep an eye out on her as the season progresses, she's likely to climb the rankings.

[player_tooltip player_id='922619' first='Delaney' last='Bonneau'] (2027) | 5'10 Guard | BCRI

Bonneau led her team to success this weekend with considerable plays on both ends of the floor. She had spurts where she carried the offensive load for her squad and when she deferred to teammates it was the right call to make. Delaney is regularly celebrated for her scoring prowess, but this time watching her, it was refreshing witnessing the '27 guard get after it on the defensive end. Delaney wasn't just making on-ball steals either, it was the consistent deflections from her active hands and readiness to be in position. Bonneau was engaged from the start of games until the very last whistle blew. When this level of defensive attention to detail is combined with her heavy scoring outputs, it makes her one of the most intriguing '27 guards in the region. Her stock is surely rising after a successful weekend.
