We have some downtime before the next live period begins in June. At that time, I'd like to catch up and highlight some players I haven't had the chance to see because I haven't seen them or for any other reason. We'll probably do this to end the month today and tomorrow.

[player_tooltip player_id='751247' first='Bailee' last='Parker']

The Vel Phillips Memorial guard/wing missed her sophomore season due to a knee injury. During that time, her Spartans team missed her presence. Parker is a solid perimeter shooter who could make some plays off the dribble by attacking and recovering defenses. Parker's ability on the perimeter will be valuable next season for the Spartans.

[player_tooltip player_id='533088' first='Madelyn' last='Stocks']

The Germantown guard has always fit the Warhawks' identity. Stocks is a high-motor kid who can fly around on both ends of the floor and make plays on the ball. The 5'6 guard excels playing in a full-court press with Germantown, which helps her utilize her athleticism and capacity to play at a high tempo for 30 or more minutes in a game. Stocks is also a reliable perimeter shooter who can knock down shots if she has the time and space to get shots off. She can make plays on both ends.

[player_tooltip player_id='649413' first='Ava' last='Wagner']

The Pardeeville post contributed to one of the better D4 programs in the state last season. Wagner was a consistent double-double threat who could control the area around the basket. The Bulldog post does her work early and has the physicality to hold her position and give her perimeter players a target to get the ball to her around the basket. Wagner is also comfortable scoring over either shoulder around the basket. Most programs in Pardeeville's conference won't have the players to defend her around the basket effectively.

[player_tooltip player_id='963592' first='Addison' last='Pommerening']

I was impressed by what Pommerening did at the WIAA/WBCA Summer Slam event last June. Her ability to defend and find ways to create extra possessions was a tangible trait she could use at the varsity level last season, and she did earn some rotational minutes for the Warhawks in the 24-25 season. The Arrowhead junior won't be someone who records 10 points every game for the Warhawks next season, but she could be a reason her team can pull out competitive wins. She's a glue player who could fit into any lineup her team may want to play next season.
