2026 Shooting Guard Update

Circling back around, below is a quick look at the shooting guards who were included in either the Top 100 or the 125-player watch list. Addisyn is a wiry-strong athlete, she can create offense off the bounce, but her field goal percentage (41%) and 3-point percentage (38%) also increased quite a bit this season. She has gotten stronger and is finishing better around the basket. She also contributes in a variety of ways. She can get to the paint, knock down the occasional 3-pointer, plus she can handle and distribute, or initiate the offense from transition. Like Higgs (above), Griffyn has steadily improved each season, to the point of averaging 15.1 points per game in 2024-2025, while knocking down 50 3-pointers on the season. She plays primarily off the ball offensively, but she is an excellent offensive rebounder for her position. She is an athlete, though, with nice length, wiry strength, and the ability to score the ball from all three levels. This Winter, she quadrupled her scoring from 2.5 points per game as a Sophomore, to 10.4 as a Junior. She's also a solid perimeter shooter, and an effective defender.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
