To be a, “Stock-Riser”, means a few things depending on how you look at it but the most important factor in my opinion is that the prospect is continuously putting in meaningful work in their off-time and that work is translating to the floor in real game-time. In this piece, we cover five individuals out of this 2027 Class in Nebraska, that have embodied what it means to be a Stock-Riser these past few months.

[player_tooltip player_id='865335' first='Kamryn' last='Scott'] is slowing picking up interest as she gets older and her game starts to round out a little bit more evenly. Scott, a 5'7 PG, competes with an aggressive demeanor, she is someone that would be considered a pass-first PG with the ability to score herself in the blink of an eye if need be when things break down. You can really give her the ball and trust her in what she is trying to accomplish within the team's system. she has put up great numbers for two years now at the Varsity level and her play this Spring has been delightful. She just received a college offer or two this past month on the road. Now she just has to keep on working and those should continue to come on in.

The combination of size, touch, and situational awareness that [player_tooltip player_id='896148' first='Sophia' last='Varn'] brings to the floor is starting to really stand out. Metaphorically and literally. Varn is sitting between 6'2 and 6'3 at the moment and that, along with her athletic ability is catching the eyes of a lot of college programs across the Country. We always say you can't teach height and when you have coordination too, watch out. Varn competes with a great base and fundamentals. If she sticks to that and gets stronger as she continues to grow up - she might be a on D1 floor before you know it.

Some solid future potential out of [player_tooltip player_id='771658' first='Braylee' last='Vasa'] of Lincoln - Standing Bear High School. Vasa, a 6'0 SF/SG, is one of those that is pretty versatile. She can move around and play the 2 for you as a SG or switch to the 3/4 and defend someone who might have some size on her. She is active on and off of the ball at a high rate, always trying her best to make an impact on every given play. In this Update, Vasa moves up to #32 in this 2027 Class. If she continues to work on her weaknesses moving into this Winter, she should be a name we continue to hear more and more.

[player_tooltip player_id='1060158' first='Emersyn' last='Graves'] just picked up her first offer this past few months after putting together some consistent play on the road with her Missouri Phenom - Nebraska Hub AAU program. Graves has been moving quick decisions, playing impactful defense, and she is getting to her spot at a steady rate. She doesn't have to be on the ball to make a difference. If she has it for 3-4 seconds, that 's enough time to make something happen within her team's systems and that speaks volumes. This time Graves comes in at #41, gaining some steam moving into the month of July!

[player_tooltip player_id='928979' first='Jaeli' last='Franccini'] is highly regarded as one of the top athletes in the state of Nebraska on the Track Field but she does a great job of converting that to some success on the hardwood either. Franccini has speed, natural instincts, a high end athletic ability, and a LOT of endurance. She can really outpace anyone even though she is a State Runner at the 100M Dash. This helps her kill opponents down the floor, especially in transition. I'm excited to see what JF will be able to put together this Winter. With the right guidance, it could be some very impressive numbers.
