[player_tooltip player_id='928443' first='Maya' last='Jenkins'] is playing like an MVP this Spring with her [program_tooltip program_id='860091' first='Iowa' last='Ice'] program out of Forest City. Jenkins has demonstrated for months now that she is the real deal. She is a coordinated hooper out of the 2029 Class, that understands the game at a high rate because of her past experiences and work in the off-seasons. Whenever the Ice have done well these past few months, it's cause Jenkins is usually leading the pack by example. Offensively she is either creating and assisting, getting buckets herself, or she is making an impactful play off the ball. There are a lot of hoopers out of this 2029 Class that will have a chance to play collegiate ball at the end of the day and Jenkins is definitely going to be in that conversation.

There are truly a handful of players out of this 2029 Class that could be ranked as the #1 overall player throughout the state of Iowa when that times comes. Right now, specifically I'd say there are 5-6 in the discussion. [player_tooltip player_id='951657' first='Tenley' last='Levin'] of Solon High School and Missouri Phenom 2029 EYBL is one of those players. Levin brings a mixture of length, athletic ability, skill, and savvy-ness to the hardwood. She is a hooper that stands out on both sides of the ball right now, making an instant impact in almost any situation you put her in with her productivity. Going into this Spring, Levin was a name to keep an eye on and that hasn't changed one bit since. She is doing her thing on a National stage each week on the road and that's all you can really ask for at this point.

One of the most natural players that this Class has to offer is [player_tooltip player_id='1238114' first='Quinn' last='Sievers']. Sievers competes with [program_tooltip program_id='713071' first='Play4Him' last='Academy'] 2029 and she will attend Newell-Fonda High School for the next four years. When you watch her compete, it's nothing short of amazing. There are certain players out there that just have an act for being in the right place at the right time and for always making the right play. That's Sievers. Not only that, she is extremely crafty for her position in whatever she is choosing to accomplish. She plays off of two feet like a pro, she is ELITE in the passing aspects of the game, she can handle well under pressure, and she has a smoothness about her when she let's it fly. These are all things that SCREAM next level prospect at the end of the day. She just needs to keep playing her game and the rest will be history.

Debatably the most dominant big we have seen this Spring for the 2029 Class in Iowa is [player_tooltip player_id='1169794' first='Emma' last='Ryder'] of [program_tooltip program_id='712377' first='All' last='Iowa Attack'] 2029 EYBL. Ryder is going to come into high school as a freshman at 6'1 and extremely coordinated. Those two factors alone will make her an All-State player at Ottumwa High School over this next twelve months and we aren't even talking about her actual skill-set. When it comes to that stuff, Ryder is gradually getting better with time out on the floor. What I've learned this Spring is that she is a fast learner, she competes with a chip on her shoulder mentality, and she possesses a high motor throughout the duration of a contest. As long as she keeps progressing at this rate, she is going to have D1 offers before you know it.

I have this feeling that [player_tooltip player_id='886240' first='Kiersten' last='TeBockhorst'] is going to take the state of Iowa by storm at Independence High School. I wouldn't be surprised if KT leads her team to a State appearance as a Freshman either. She is that solid of a prospect. TeBockhorst is like how we described Sievers above, a natural. She understands the game at a very high level for her age and it seems to come to her organically. It's never forced or something that seems like a chore. Instead, she is always having a good time and that's what it's all about. Finding happiness while competing. It's early and we do need to see KT against some high level competition but so far, so good from the skilled PG this Spring on the road.
