Area Codes College Prospect Showcase: who caught my eye

The recent Area Codes College Prospect Showcase had several players from Arizona that displayed excellent skills and competitive drive during the 5 hour Showcase. The Showcase format takes players out of their comfort zone and puts them into challenging situations and forces them to adapt and flow with their respective teams. Here are a few more of the players that stood out to me at the event.    Avianna Damon Showalter's stock is rising this summer as she prepares for her Senior season at Xavier Prep. Damon-Showalter showed tremendous range and shooting ability during the Showcase. She hit several 3's under pressure, and she also found ways to pick up easy buckets on back cuts and movement without the ball. She is a very good defender that has a high basketball IQ. I believe Avi will have a breakout year this season for Xavier Prep and become a critical piece to a team vying for a State Championship. She is definitely a college prospect and her recruiting should pick up this summer.     [player_tooltip player_id='749670' first='Noelle' last='Mulvanny'] is a battle tested player that is a top College Prospect in Arizona in my opinion. She can play shooting guard or either forward position. She can also guard multiple positions. Her strength in my opinion is her court awareness and fluidity to her game. She knows how to position herself offensively to either score or get rebounds, and she is a very good passer. Defensively she is a force. She has very good size and length for a small forward, and has very good agility and quickness for a player of her size.     [player_tooltip player_id='992620' first='Raeanna' last='Love'] had a nice showing at the Showcase, and she will be an impact player for the Gilbert Tigers this season as they try to get back to the State Title game. I see her as a Shooting Guard that can also play small forward. She has a very nice mid-range game and can hit on drives to the lane with pull-ups or floaters. She has good speed and athleticism and can run the floor with guards. She is a solid defender that can guard both guard positions and small forwards. Raeanna is under the radar right now but she will be a college prospect and play on the next level.     [player_tooltip player_id='1197249' first='Jayda' last='Haley'] is a very intriguing prospect. I have her as the #1 ranked 2027 in Southern Arizona. She is a big guard that is an excellent mid-range shooter and can score efficiently in the paint as a guard. She is tough to guard because of her size and strength. She has deceptive quickness for a big guard, and can explode off the dribble. She is a very good defender and rebounder. Jayda has tremendous upside and potential and will be a top College prospect in Arizona the next few years.     [player_tooltip player_id='917119' first='Abuk' last='Lual'] had a nice showing at the Showcase for a young player. She has incredible size and length for a high school player and is a nightmare to score against in the paint. She alters shots, and creates stress on players trying to get into the lane and score. She is a very good rebounder both offensively and defensively. She will continue to develop her all-around game and could be a big-time college prospect before her career is done.
