ELV8 Summer Showcase Stock Risers

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>As we wind down the evaluations from the ELV8 Summer Showcase in Tucson, there were several players that raised their stock after having solid performances in the Showcase Games and the individual Skills Session as well. She did well handling the ball and showing her quickness and athletic ability all night. She hit a couple deep 3 pointers, and she showed she could get to the rim on the drive as well. She was solid on defense and made some nice defensive plays in the open floor. She got some valuable varsity minutes last year as a freshman at Cienega and will be an impact player for the Bobcats this season. I see her as a point guard because she handles the ball well and makes good decisions with the ball in pressure situations. She started as a freshman and she continues to grow and develop her game year round. She is an excellent defender that can cover ground quickly in the open floor and is extremely agile and athletic. She is a very coachable player that will do anything you asked her to do. Her offensive game is developing, but she is a nightmare to cover on the fast break. She has really improved her shooting and her ball handling over the past year. She is getting valuable minutes with the Varsity team for the Jaguars, and you can tell she has put in a tremendous amount of work over the off-season. She is a good defender and rebounder for a guard. She is just learning the game of basketball but she is picking things up quickly. She has good size and athleticism for a Center, and she has a good fell for playing in the post. She moves well for her size and she has a relentless motor.
