Southern Arizona Showcase Top Newcomers

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Southern Arizona Showcase hosted over 150 student athletes from over 40 different high schools across Southern Arizona. Players were placed on teams and played in 2-3 games throughout the day. The girls section was fun to watch as the talent was very competitive. She is another addition to a strong Thunderbolt forward rotation. She is a skilled dribbler that can make a move and get to her spot. Shot the ball very well of the catch from behind the arc. Did very well defensively blocking shots and grabbing rebounds. Shes a tough two way guard who will see her name rise the rankings really soon. A sniper off the catch and a skilled dribbler that can make a move into a midrange or get to the basket for a layup. She guarded many top players at this event and was impressive defensively considering she was the youngest participant. A physical on ball defender who will not back down. Even off the ball Adger is making reads and picked off many passes. Handles the ball extremely well and is a natural leader on the court. Rarely did I see Aliyah pressured into mistakes. She's what I like to call an "unsung hero". Adams didn't light up the scoreboard but made a lot of moves the allowed her team to gain advantages. She was one of the better off ball players at the event. A lot of movement and screens that lead directly to points. Did very well rebounding. A power forward with a strong frame. Boxes out and grabs rebounds very well. Moves the floor setting screens and creating opportunities for her teammates. Didnt see her shoot the ball too much but she did everything without the ball you'd want as a coach.
