Kersey (Class of 2031) filled in with the 2027 team after injuries hit. She excelled in pick-and-roll situations with the older bigs, hitting the roller several times for layups. Assists flowed out of her all day. Kersey impressed by creating her own lanes to score with break-out layups and dribble-drive moves. Her ball-handling and basketball IQ at just seventh grade are well ahead of others her age.

Jordis (twin sister of Kersey, Class of 2031) found creative ways to feed the bigs inside in mismatch situations and even did some scoring herself. She proved to be an outside threat early on and continued to drain threes throughout the day. Her true athleticism was shown in the man-to-man press that created havoc in the backcourt, frustrating point guards all day long. As just a seventh grader, she will be one to watch in the next few years.

As an incoming freshman, Kate was a standout this weekend. Her ability to score at will, battle for rebounds, and flat-out hustle was super impressive. In this first showing, you can tell she feels at home on the court and has a veteran feel to her style of play. I have a feeling she's going to be an offensive threat this year.
