Yesterday, I highlighted a few kids who could have breakout seasons in the 2025-26 season. Today, I'll highlight a few more breakout candidates who can impress people this coming high school season. Some kids are coming off injuries or are in line for a potential higher-usage role, but let's talk about some more breakout candidates.

The newcomer at Brookfield Central battled through injuries in her first high school season. A wrist injury ended her season prematurely, but you could see flashes of what she could become. Players her size being willing to play physically is uncommon, and even though shots didn't fall as much as she would've liked, you can tell that she has one of the highest ceilings in her class and is likely the best post in that class.

[player_tooltip player_id='892249' first='Morgan' last='Mocadlo']

The Hortonville guard has been around the program for some time and has seen the heights the Polar Bears can reach. Mocadlo earned playing time late in the season when both D1-level guards had injuries for the Polar Bears, and Mocadlo played well. The 2028 grad played a prominent role in a near-upset victory over a solid Neenah team, and she played fearlessly when she earned her opportunity. Mocadlo is a kid who could thrive if she earns a prominent role for the Polar Bears this season.

[player_tooltip player_id='992488' first='Ava' last='Hendrickson']

The West Salem forward played behind a player who dominated the Coulee Conference the past four seasons. Hendrickson has had an excellent spring season with her [program_tooltip program_id='712778' first='Purple' last='Aces'] group and has been a double-double threat playing against kids her age. I suspect she'll continue the run of productive front-court play for the Panthers. Her ability to operate around the basket and rebound the well in traffic on both ends of the floor could make her one of the best forwards in the Coulee Conference next season.

[player_tooltip player_id='884601' first='Ava' last='Calhoon']

Freedom had a deep rotation last season and had plenty of veteran talent all over the floor. However, they had plenty of seniors who graduated, leaving a void with plenty of minutes up for grabs. Calhoon is a kid who I feel is ready for an increased role and had solid showings last season for a team that competed at the top of the Northeast Conference. Calhoon is a kid who can get downhill and make plays at the basket while playing through contact. I'm eager to see what she can do next season.
