Section 7: Senior Standouts

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>On&nbsp;<strong>June 13- 14th, Section 7&nbsp;</strong>Girls Weekend 2025 took place at the&nbsp;<strong>Arizona Athletic Grounds</strong>&nbsp;in&nbsp;<strong>Mesa</strong>. The event featured some of the top teams in the state and on the West Coast. During Section 7, her complete skill set was on display. She was putting in work on both the interior and the perimeter. She's reminding everyone of the player she was before her injuries. She played at an efficient rate and made her presence felt in the paint. Opposing coaches didn't know whether to put a bigger player on her or guards. She brought bigger players out to the perimeter, and she took smaller players down on the block. She showed during the weekend that she is getting closer to being her old self. She handled the ball and ran the floor well. She was as tough as anyone I saw during the event. On both sides of the court, she just always seemed to want it more. She is known more for her shooting, but it was her ball handling and patience that stood out to me. She has become very comfortable as a ball handler and facilitator.
