<p>On <strong>June 13- 14th,</strong> the prestigious <strong>Section 7</strong> Girls Weekend 2025 took place at the Arizona Athletic Grounds in Mesa. The event featured some of the top players in the state and on the West Coast.</p>

<p><strong>Here, I look at some of the players that I saw who upped their stock</strong></p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Williams' developing game stood out as she seems more comfortable balancing being a passer as well as a scorer. Her ball handling has improved as she used her body to keep smaller defenders off of her. She played with good pace and wasn't easily sped up by the defense. She shot the ball with confidence and looks to be ready for a big junior season.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">The quickness and athleticism of Rogers were on full display for everyone. On offense, her first step was so much faster than the defenders' it was scary. She was able to get to the rim at will, and when the defense helped, she was able to dump off the easy passes to her teammates. On the defensive end, she showed why she might be the best perimeter defender in the state. Opposing ballhandlers saw that she was extremely tough to beat off the dribble.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Murray was easily one of the best floor generals that I saw during the event. She played with great pace and knew when to attack the defense or when to pull the ball out and set the offense up. Kinsey threw some beautiful passes to teammates who, at times, didn't seem to be open, but they were. She had multiple double-doubles during the weekend.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Jones was the most athletic player on the floor every time she stepped on the court during the event. She was slashing to the basket, at times over taller players, as well as beating them down the floor. Trinity was also hitting both the offensive and defensive glass. She had a block shot that was so nice it had coaches reacting. </p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Jones didn't need to have the ball to make an impact on the game. She went and got the ball. Her energy and athletic ability were hard to bottle up for the opposition. She was able to slash through the defense on her way to the rim. Corri was also very effective on the boards, creating extra chances for her team.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Versatility and upside are the two main words that relate to Taylor. She is the ultimate inside/outside threat on offense and defense. She was hitting deep three-pointers as well as altering or blocking shots around the basket.</p>
