Trinity continues to trend upward as one of the more intriguing forwards in the class. Her length, athleticism, and wingspan give her a natural edge on both ends of the court. Jones has been steadily improving her offensive skill set, showing flashes of a developing face-up game to complement her rebounding and defensive presence. Her ceiling remains high, and she’s only scratching the surface of what she can become.

Jones had flashes during the summer when she was the best player on the floor. Her length and athletic ability were giving opponents problems. She was getting out on the break and beating guards up court. On defense, she can switch and guard multiple positions effectively.

She’s a superb athlete — sprints the floor hard in transition and brings a high motor on both ends. Moves her feet well on defense and uses her length to harass ball handlers, block shots, and protect the rim. In transition, she makes good decisions with the ball and showed some impressive vertical pop. Also finishes really well around the rim, making the most of her touches inside. Just a constant presence all game long.

Jones was the most athletic player on the floor every time she stepped on the court during the event. She was slashing to the basket, at times over taller players, as well as beating them down the floor. Trinity was also hitting both the offensive and defensive glass. She had a block shot that was so nice it had coaches reacting.

Jones has the pedigree of a good prospect and she will get there sooner rather than later. She already has impact on the defensive end and her offense will develop in time.
