Brooklyn started her day with a shifty crossover step back swish and continued to shine for Clarkston at the Swartz Creek Summer League. She buried a corner three off a screen and created open looks for teammates by collapsing the defense with her hard drives before dishing strong passes to open shooters. Brooklyn knocked down mid-range jumpers off the dribble, dropped in a smooth floater after a crossover, and cut back door to score a layup. She showed her expertise as a facilitator and dynamic ball-handler, making great decisions and accurate passes with the ball in her hands. Brooklyn is one of the best point guards in the 2027 class and her impact shows on both sides of the ball every time I watch her play--she empties the tank every game.

Molly erupted for a huge 25-point performance for Flint Kearsley at the Swartz Creek Summer League. She finished many layups off two feet, including a strong and-one in transition plus the free throw. Molly swiped the ball away on defense and took it the other way with pace to cause a foul. She turned on the afterburners to score several layups in transition and earned trips to the free throw line with her fierce drives to the basket. Molly converted many free throws from the charity stripe and buried three triples in the first half. She is a competitive guard who can light it up from beyond the arc, finish through contact, and get by defenders with a burst to the basket.

Cassie was a productive forward for New Lothrop, who grabbed my attention at the Swartz Creek Summer League. She scored a layup off the opening tip to start the day and added an offensive rebound put-back. Cassie played perfect denial defense with her outside hand, deflecting the entry pass and securing the steal. She caught a pass in stride and made a smooth transfer to score the layup. Cassie has good hands, catching dump-off passes in the paint and finishing layups off two feet. She battled for position and secured rebounds on both ends throughout the day.

Ella is a guard from Genesee Christian who had a solid day at the Swartz Creek Summer League. She drove past defenders with a burst to cause a foul and buried both free throws. Ella turned the corner off a dribble hand off and dropped in a tough floater over the hand of a contesting defender. She stole the ball and raced down the court with speedy pushout dribbles, then made the extra pass for an assist. Ella threw long skip passes to open teammates, handled the ball confidently with both hands, created steals, and secured rebounds. She has a smooth jumper and converted multiple free throws from the charity stripe.

Katelyn was one of the best prospects in the gym at the Swartz Creek Summer League last week. She has high-jumping athleticism, length, and a second gear that separates her from the pack. Katelyn drove hard downhill to force fouls and converted many free throws with a confident follow-through at the line. She cut back door, caught the pass, and made a quick transfer to score the contested layup. Katelyn beat her defender on a baseline drive and dished an excellent left-handed pass when the help arrived for the assist--her ability to drive full speed and dish quick dump-off passes as the help arrived gave teammates wide-open looks throughout the day. Katelyn ripped the ball away on defense and raced the other way with explosive, long strides, using pushout dribbles with both hands, and finishing the layup in top gear after a quick transfer to her left hand. Katelyn split defenders off an inbounds play, absorbed contact at the rim, and finished the layup. She showed her perimeter range by knocking down a deep corner jumper and a wing three. Katelyn converted many free throws, used her length to create steals, and crashed the boards to grab rebounds. She sealed defenders in the paint with a strong, athletic base and scored several layups through contact. Katelyn should be on every D2, D3, and NAIA program's radar right now.
