Here is a list of five uncommitted prospects out of the 2026 Class in Nebraska that I would offer if I was a college coach at this moment in time. Each one of these hoopers is going to be a game-changer at the next level as long as they stay motivated and hungry in their individual Basketball journey.

We discovered [player_tooltip player_id='964973' first='Ava' last='Reed'] about 16 months ago now and it still blows me away that she does not possess a Division-1 offer in some aspect yet. This is someone that stands between 5'11-6'0, she can play your PG and operate with ease, making everyone else around her better, playing the game the right way on both sides of the ball. If you watch Reed on film for 2 minutes, you know she is a collegiate level hooper. It wouldn't shock me if she went D2 or NAIA out of high school and then transfers to a D1 program. In the right system, this is someone who will produce on that type of floor, no matter who is placed in front of her. Her coordination, size, and fundamental play is extremely impressive and it WILL take her places before you know it.

The biggest stock riser that the state of Nebraska has had this past six months in my opinion is [player_tooltip player_id='759113' first='Justine' last='Tcheuhchoua'] of Omaha North High School and NHE 17U AAU. Tcheuhchoua has been a star on the hardwood, showing her worth at every stop that her AAU team has made the past few months. Doesn't matter if it's in Nebraska, in Illinois, or all the way down in Texas. JT takes the court and impacts almost every facet of the game in some way or another. She is a physical Forward down-low, that has great movement and smarts for her position. She has shown steady progression throughout her basketball career and I only expect that to pick up even more at the next level. Wherever that may be.

I don't think it's fair in saying [player_tooltip player_id='502331' first='Hadley' last='Walsh'] is a PG. I have watched Walsh several times this Spring and she plays more of an off-guard if anything at times. That might be different in high school ball but when she has other elite play makers around her, she can really produce as the 2, 3, or even 4 at certain times. Walsh comes into this month of July between 5'11-6'0 with a ton of versatility. Like I said, she can play several positions on the hardwood so it's really wherever she is needed. This versatility is noteworthy and will help her compete in a number of different systems in the future. As of right now, Walsh holds a few D2 full-ride offers. If she continues to play at a high level into the Live Periods in July, she could stack even more between Fall comes up and she walks into her Senior season of High School ball.

Oakland-Craig has some ballers all around at every position. A program that made strides last Winter, has some noteworthy competitors who should be able to see the floor at the next level if they get a shot. Someone that specifically comes to mind is [player_tooltip player_id='820511' first='Briar' last='Ray']. Ray is a CG, that gets a lot of buckets offensively for her squads. She can shoot it with confidence, she can create for others if need be, and she is pretty accurate in everything she is attempting. Defensively, she is just as sound. She won't hurt you and she isn't a liability when you put her out there and that matters. I'm not sure where Ray will end up but she has the skill-set, she just needs to keep working.

Shoutout to AF, [player_tooltip player_id='757575' first='Akazja' last='Foster'] of Omaha North High School and NE Supreme. Foster has been a next level player during AAU season this Spring/Summer. I was unsure going into this Spring how she would fit but that changed rather quickly. Within the first week, Foster demonstrated that she was one of the top dawgs on her team at the PG position. She is smooth, she can orchestrate and facilitate at a high rate, and she can lead. Three factors that help her succeed in her everyday life on the court, as well as in the future. This has been someone that her teammates can trust in big moments and I don't expect that to change anytime soon.
