2027: 5 Players to Watch This July

When she is locked in on defense she could really move her feet and keep people in front of her. Her ability to be physical and also use her speed is impressive. She is still raw in all aspects of her game but her ceiling and potential is the big upside you are looking at. On the offensive end of the ball she can be saucy and use a lot of moves which is great but at times she just rips and goes and uses her solid one dribble pull-up and she can be efficient. She is a player to watch this july. She will be playing on that Mountain West Premier EYCL team. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='796485' first='Tofi' last='De La Cerna'] || West Jordan || Combo Guard ||</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>De La Cerna is a strong lead guard that can also defend the SF position. There will be a lot more minutes for her come this high school season. She had a stellar freshman year and is looking to bring a lot of that free-play back to the floor this coming high school season. She could be an eye catching player with next level potential that could also have a high ceiling. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='796474' first='Evalyn' last='Roberts'] || Bingham || Shooting Guard ||</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Roberts has really put sometime into expanding her game. Last year she was among the best 3-point shooters in the state and percentage wise she was in the 40's. Roberts has been better on the ball distributing and making plays happen. She has gotten to the free-throw-line a lot more as well. Look for her to put it all together in July. She will be running with Utah Lady Prospect 16U Gold. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Bella Capri Nelson || Skyridge || Combo Guard ||</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Nelson is a bit off the radar but she will be a player you need to watch this July. She brings a little bit of everything to the floor. Including being an underrated two-way player. She has been quicker in her decision making and she has also been attacking more consistently and shooting the ball better and with range. She is a small school D3 type of a talent.
