With the PGH Kentucky Freshman Showcase a little over a month away, it's the perfect time to do a deep dive into the Class of 2029. I really like the level of talent this group possesses and there are plenty of prospects with real college potential. Take a look at 7 names you need to know in the Class of 2029.    I'm a big fan of [player_tooltip player_id='1203721' first='Callie' last='Jones']. She's a two-way guard with nice size and length, and her game is already well-rounded at a young age. Callie can shoot the three at a good clip, hit mid-range jumpers, and attack the basket. She's a defensive stopper who embraces the challenge of guarding the opposing team's best player. She started varsity as an 8th grader and played in all 31 games for South Laurel, averaging 8.4 points and 3.1 rebounds per game. Callie is definitely one to watch as her career progresses.     I got a good look at [player_tooltip player_id='925198' first='Anzlee' last='Hendrix'] at the Bluegrass Cardinal Classic last month, and she left a strong impression. A small lead guard with a lot of flair to her game, Anzlee is a highly skilled ball handler who creates separation with ease off the bounce. She finishes well at the rim and has a great feel for finding ways to get her shot off among taller defenders in the paint. She is a lethal perimeter shooter as well. Led Greenwood in scoring last season with 10.6 points per game. She converts at a high rate in the paint, using solid footwork and the ability to score with either hand around the rim. Amelia is hard to stop when she gets downhill and has no problem finishing through contact. She can protect the rim, rebound, and has shown that she can step out and hit perimeter shots.     North Hardin has another talented 2029 guard on the roster in [player_tooltip player_id='913604' first='Charliegh' last='Honore']. An athletic and lightning-quick small guard, Charliegh competes hard on both ends of the floor. She uses her speed and handle to get to the rim and thrives in transition. She's disruptive on defense and does a great job turning steals into points, constantly applying pressure and creating havoc for opposing ball handlers. Charliegh is definitely a rising prospect to keep an eye on.     [player_tooltip player_id='1049412' first='Annaleigh' last='Davis'] is a young guard you'll be hearing a lot about very soon. She has good speed and uses it well to beat defenders off the dribble and get to the rack. Annaleigh is a smart decision-maker with the ball and gets after it on the defensive end. She gained valuable experience last season, playing in 16 varsity games for Martin County.     While doing a deep film intel from the Bluegrass Cardinal Classic, I couldn't help but notice [player_tooltip player_id='1253055' first='Kamryn' last='Duncan']. She has great size at nearly 6 feet, a sturdy frame, and the skill set to match. Kamryn boasts a solid all-around game, she can put the ball on the deck and drive with power, finishing at the rim with either hand. She also has range beyond the arc, making her a true inside-out threat, and shows a high basketball IQ by finding her teammates for quality looks. She's poised to be a key contributor for Johnson Central, a team with the pieces to potentially be among the top programs in the state this upcoming season.     [player_tooltip player_id='899675' first='Lily' last='Bittner'] is a high-energy guard who brings effort and intensity on both ends of the floor. She's very fast with the ball in the open court, able to get to the basket and finish, and is also a reliable catch-and-shoot threat from three-point range. Lily plays with poise and maturity. She stays levelheaded, never getting too high or too low, even in tight situations. She appeared in 16 varsity games last season, and looks ready to take the next step in her development.
