We really saw [player_tooltip player_id='686893' first='Cassidy' last='Danburg'] step up to end the 2025 High School season at the 5A State Tournament. During that run, Danburg demonstrated that she was more than a back to the basket player. She displayed that she can also step out to screen or handle while attacking the bucket. Danburg followed the up with having a respectable AAU run with her [program_tooltip program_id='714272' first='Iowa' last='Battlers'] Team. Danburg showed off each week that she was a prospect to worry about next to the hoop. If you don't, she will have 10/10 by halftime in every contest she participates in. Her height at 6'2, she touch on the ball, and her adaptability is solid. It'll take her places at the next level before you know it.

[player_tooltip player_id='656292' first='Zoe' last='Allen'] is a viable option down-low for several programs at the next level. Allen has better than average size, she is very efficient in her play in-between the blocks, she can screen and seal with the best of them, or she can pull up for a nice 15FT jump shot. Defensively, I love that Allen can move around at either Post position or she can switch onto a CG for brief periods of time. She rebounds hard and she never lets up, unless she is in foul trouble and has to be careful. This is someone with a lot of interest as we get closer to the Fall. I don't know where she will end up exactly so we will just have to see what comes about.

A few days ago [player_tooltip player_id='880911' first='Victoria' last='Burpo'] of Waukee NW received her first Division-1 offer from down South. Burpo, a 6'0 PF, has the height and muscle mass to pair with it that all collegiate coaches love to see. She can bully her way to several buckets and rebounds in a short period of time if the opponent doesn't game-plan for her. She can also step out, screen, and roll for a look going towards the hoop from the outside. Burpo should be a nice piece to her team's puzzle, if you will, for this upcoming Winter with Waukee NW. They are going to have two starters over 6'0 and that will play to their favor against in the long run if they want to de-thrown the reigning 5A Champs.

[player_tooltip player_id='435773' first='Cora' last='Widel'] ended her AAU career this past weekend with her Missouri Phenom 17U Iowa Hub team. Widel is a lefty with some skill on both sides of the ball. She is athletic, she can produce on or off of the ball, and she be someone that leads all the others around her at a steady rate. She can at her opponent and finish through contact or she can step outside the three point line and make it rain off the catch. This is a SF with a number of offers to compete at the next level so she is going to have to take some time and really figure out where her best fit is. She has the type of game that can play in a few different systems so it's really whenever feels like home.

The future Northwest Missour State Bearcat, [player_tooltip player_id='795874' first='LJ' last='Maehl'] did her job this AAU season on the EYCL Circuit. LJ is a next level player when it comes to rebounding on either end, altering shots and defending, or scoring in the painted area. She can also step out to shoot but it's not her best ability at this time. As she gets older, that will change though - depending on what her team's system looks like. I would say that LJ is going to be more of a natural 4 on the D2 floor after the AAU season she just put together. She had some highlight moments throughout the past two years with the Attack and she is ready to build onto that this upcoming season at Fort Dodge.
