After doing the Midwest gauntlet of Kentucky and Ohio, I am fascinated with how all these young ladies keep grinding through a very difficult schedule. These were the girls from around the country who impressed me at the Run 4 The Roses Classic.

Jamiah showed an array of skills in Louisville for Phee Elite. She displayed elite three-point shooting with range and knocked down contested shots. Her handle was tight and she easily attacked pressure. She was not sped up and contolled the pace with the ball in her hands. She left defenders guessing all weekend.

In a hectic environment, Gabriella played with composure that many other girls didn't have for Jersey Elite. She made excellent decisions with the ball in her hands. She knew when to score and when to distribute the ball. She handled ball pressure and when she found separation she shot it with confidence.

Philly Rise know how to take advantage of Madison's skills. Playing in the EYBL Session, the UPenn commit used her length to be a disruptor at the top of the press. Offensively, she runs to corners in transition where she can use a high release to get 3-pointers off against the oncoming close outs. She also attacked off the bounce and made good decisions with the ball when she got in the paint.

Jordyn is tough and physical on both end of the court for Philly Rise. She makes opponents uncomfortable. Offensively, she powers through contact and finishes with ease. She showed excellent hands in the paint as well. Defensively, she had no problem moving opposing post players off their spot and forcing them to catch the ball in difficult spots.

Duval Elite has a deep threat and her name is Kennedy Loux. This young lady stroked it from deep all weekend. Even in the games where she started slow. she showed a shooter's confidence and kept firing and always got back on track. She kept her teams in games why scoring from spots on the court where opponents didn't even think they had to guard her.

Kasey oozes athleticism when you watch her play for Duval Elite. On the offensive end, the Yale commit uses her talent to her advantage when the ball is in her hands. She shows a quick first step when driving to hoop and she relied on a strong pull up game where she elevated to the point where it was tough to get a hand close to her shot.

Playing for Always 100 3SSB, Maya was a force all weekend. The Northern Kentucky commit showed her stuff at both ends of the court. She was a force defensively using great anticipation and active hands to get turnovers in the Always 100 3SSB half court trap. She has great length and plays a smooth game finishing inside and out and facilitating her team. Playing with only 6, Maya was a big reason her team was playing in the championship on ESPN where they came up just short against Mac Irvin Fire.

Myah may have been the most vital piece of the Always 100 3SSB Aqua pool runner-up squad. The Louisville commit is a physical force when she attacks the rim. Finding and finishing through contact was not an issue for Myah. Playing on a team that only had 6 girls, she mixed it up in the paint and was great at cleaning the glass. Her anticipation and length was key to the success of the Always 100 3SSB trapping zone D.
