The past six days in Louisville were a surreal experience for multiple reasons. Outside of the chaos from a few days ago, there were plenty of players who stood out from all over the gym. Today, before I head to Chicago, I'd like to highlight a few names I was impressed by in the week I was at Run 4 Roses.

[player_tooltip player_id='1275661' first='Jordan' last='Ohman']

I thought Ohman played the best basketball I've ever seen her play. The [program_tooltip program_id='713332' first='Team' last='Wisconsin'] guard is a physical player who can make plays with the ball in her hands. She used her power to get to the basket and create space in the paint. The Menomonie guard was a handful for defenses to keep out of the lane, and Ohman made some eye-catching finishes in the games I saw.

[player_tooltip player_id='533079' first='Brooklyn' last='Love']

Love has always been a guard who could attack off the dribble and put defenses in uncomfortable positions. Each time I saw Love play, she forced the issue and got to the basket. Her ability to get two feet in the paint and put pressure on the defense opens the floor for her teammates. Love created multiple open looks for her teammates by drawing the defense's attention and creating space for her teammates. I think she's an underrated player in her class; few kids can do what she does.

[player_tooltip player_id='751240' first='Autumn' last='Crowe']

The Saint Mary Catholic wing is an athletic kid who can knock down shots on the perimeter and defend at a high level on the other end of the floor. I thought Crowe looked excellent attacking the basket and finishing in traffic, which is something I haven't seen her do much before. She looked confident putting the ball on the floor and finishing around the basket, which adds an element to her game I didn't know she had. She could be a player who finds another gear over the next year.

[player_tooltip player_id='751281' first='Rita' last='Kuepper']

There aren't many guards who can operate at the level Kuepper can. The Hartford guard has always been a talented player on the offensive end of the floor. She can create shots for herself at any time, and she can knock down shots from anywhere on the floor. At times, she makes the offensive end of the floor look simple. However, the more intriguing development for her has been how well she's played on the defensive end this summer. She's engaged on that end of the floor and has played well defensively. Kuepper is the one player who's helped herself the most this summer.
