Love’s quickness at the point of attack opens up the game for her four teammates. Love demands so much attention with the ball, and when she’s at her best, Love can create shots each time down the floor. The Dominican guard can score in bunches and has won games for her team because she can put the ball in the basket. Being a scholarship isn’t easy, but Love has the talent and the skill to do it. Her speed, ability to score, and create are all traits that will play at the next level. She may not be a physically imposing player, but she’s a playmaker.

Dominican has traditionally been a program that plays slow and controls the pace but has given the green light to kids in the past, and Love has that role now. Love has been excellent for the Knights and has had a career season. She’s scoring over 20 per game and leading the Knights in assists as we head to the business end of the season. Her speed is game-changing, and her ability to beat her defender off the dribble forces defenses to react to what she’s doing with the ball, which opens up the floor for her teammates to attack in space or take spot-up jumpers. She can make her teammate’s lives easier.

Few kids have the first step that Love possesses. Her ability to get by her initial defender whenever she wants opens up countless doors for her teammates and her coaches to work with. Love has been an excellent offensive source for Dominican this season and will be someone who can turn losses into wins for the Knights. Love is a scholarship-level talent, without a doubt.

The speed at the lead guard position is underrated publicly, but Love can get by anyone at any time. Her ability to explode off the dribble opens up numerous possibilities to score or create, and in a system that values maximizing possessions, Love can excel in a low-possession game. She’s been among the top scorers in the state this season, and that’s mainly based on her ability to create off the dribble. She may not receive the plaudits others in her 2026 class do, but Love is among the more dynamic guards in Wisconsin.

The speed that Love has makes her difficult to contain off the dribble. Sometimes, like in Dominican’s Regional Title game, Love is the best kid on the floor while playing with other D1 prospects. She can score the ball from anywhere on the floor. I don’t hear many people talk about her in that breath, but she’s productive and can swing a game based on what she brings to the floor.
