Here, I look at some of my eye catchers at the Nike Nationals

[player_tooltip player_id='754698' first='Peyton' last='Schiltz'] (Cal Storm AZ Elite 17U) – Peyton flashed her playmaking as well as her scoring ability. She played with a good change of pace and did a good job of sharing the ball with her teammates. When the opportunity was there, she did a good job of knocking down shots.

[player_tooltip player_id='734269' first='Malia' last='Romero'] (Phoenix Premier Lee/Wimbish 17U) – Romero gave her squad leadership and stability to go along with her shot-making ability. She never got rattled and always stayed within herself. When her team needed her, she knocked down some big three-pointers.

[player_tooltip player_id='837761' first='Brooke' last='Elliott'] ([program_tooltip program_id='1276371' first='Southwest' last='Premier'] National 17U) – Brooke made her presence felt in the paint during the weekend. She ran the floor well and commanded attention from the defense. She used her body well on both offense and defense, especially on the boards. Elliott looked like she is gearing up for a big senior season.

[player_tooltip player_id='836785' first='Lizzie' last='Norton'] (Team Arizona) – Lizzie showed that her game has grown since I last saw her. She was aggressive and confident with the ball in her hands. She used her energy to contribute on defense as well as with rebounding.

[player_tooltip player_id='1276385' first='Nakota' last='Tallman'] (AZ Nations) – This was my first time seeing the Northern AZ resident. I was impressed with her ball handling and ability to run the show for her team. She has good quickness and shoots the ball well from the outside.

[player_tooltip player_id='892625' first='Natalie' last='Yanes'] (Desert Dream Elite 17U) – Yanes is the type of guard that does whatever the coach needs done. She contributed to her team's success in different ways. She handled the ball well, played solid defense, and, as usual, knocked down shots when the ball came her way.
