The UHSAA really did a number ob this region having them at 8 teams. Either way let's take a look at some of the top scorers coming back.

Maple Mountain

[player_tooltip player_id='825009' first='Leah' last='Bailey'] & Ashlyn Lainhart

Maple Mountain could be a dark-horse team in the loaded 5A Classification. I will give you two reasons why and the first one is [player_tooltip player_id='825009' first='Leah' last='Bailey']. Bailey put up 17 PPG this past seasona nd she could be a 20 PPG scorer this coming season. She was once a shooter playing up as a freshman and now she is a seasoned player that could easily score at all three-levels. Ashlyn Lainhart at 5'5 she has that all-around skill you look for as a next level player. She can also shoot the ball very well. This duo could maybe give Maple Mountain a chance at a big run this coming season.

Payson

[player_tooltip player_id='879702' first='Emmy' last='Hales'] & Sadie DeGraffenried

These two over at Payson are ready to make the jump to 5A from 4A. Hales is one of the better under the radar lead guards with size. Might be one of the best kept secrets that was playing in 4A. This time she will be able to battle with some top lead guards and maybe get more college level looks. DeGraffenried is a stat stuffer and she shot the ball well at the end of the season and if she can get her shot going earlier she coudl really help Payson even more this coming year.

Pleasant Grove

Tabi Clark & [player_tooltip player_id='879706' first='Cash' last='Connors']

PG is a very interesting team as they do not return very many players from last season but they do add a lot of new players. The one player that they will bring back is Tabi Clark. The Utah Valley commit has size and play making ability. Clark is shooting the ball better and her handle has improved as well. [player_tooltip player_id='879706' first='Cash' last='Connors'] is the other returning notable player that contributed last season. Connors will move to the 3 or 4 next season but look fo rher to improve her perimeter skills on offense and defense.

Salem Hills

[player_tooltip player_id='1119391' first='Alexa' last='Vance'] & Reagan Beck

Vance is a promising young player in the Class of 2028. Vance brings shooting, rebounding and solid defense to the team this coming season. Beck is another player that comes back and she is a player that does most of her danage inside and around the basket. Salem Hills will need to replace a lot of scorers from last season.

Spanish Fork

Alexis Branch & Aydree Jacobson

Branch made the best of the minutes she got this past season and at times she was a force. With her size as a guard she hurts a lot of the smaller guards inside. Jacobson was good in the fee minutes she played lasts eason. With her minutes about to go up look for her to help her stats this coming season.

Springville

[player_tooltip player_id='1255454' first='Sami' last='DeLlamas'] & [player_tooltip player_id='866707' first='Bella' last='Esplin']

DeLlamas is actually a college level player that plays with a big time motor. She can defend 1-5 and her strength and physicality. She runs the floor well and she can finish inside with her quickness. Esplin has improved her game since last season and she should be able to elevate her game here this coming season. She is handling the ball better and that should help her get loose and score the ball.

Timpview

Lyvia Eyre & Tasi Galeia

Both of these players have size. Galeai is one o fthe premier wings in the state and if she could get to the rim and shoot the ball well this next season she is really going to keep people off balance. Eyre is a force down low and having her get solid position she could make easy work of anything thrown to her down on the blocks.

Wasatch

[player_tooltip player_id='796470' first='Mahala' last='Speardon'] & Dani Garner

These two make a big time duo of players that have size and can score. Garner has improved her game in that 15-foot area. Her abilty to run the floor and be effective can help her this coming season. Speardon on the other hand is more mobile and she is also shooting the ball a lot better than she did last season.

The UHSAA really did a number ob this region having them at 8 teams. Either way let's take a look at some of the top scorers coming back.
